Prologue - The Awakening of the Sages

Thunder echoed through the clouds and rain continued to fall from the heavens. Lightning was lighting up the darkness of night. The rain fell hard then got soft and would repeat its cycle. Thunder continued to get louder and stronger. No storm was predicted by the weather news people. Many people were wondering where this storm came from. However, as the storm raged on through the night, there was a house that it mostly stayed around at. Inside the house, were three people of high importance. A couple and their friend were fast asleep in the house. However, one person was having trouble staying asleep. As he kept on tossing and turning, his dream played a wild imagination of collected thoughts that seemed to concern him. Finally being able to wake up, he shot up from his bed. The girl that was lying next to him touched him and he just about freaked out and fell out of bed. Suddenly, another girl came rushing in and said, “Manuel!! Michelle!! Are you both ok?!” Michelle said, “I am, but I’m not soo sure about Manuel…” Manuel got back up and said, “I’m okay. I had a really bad dream and this storm doesn’t make it better…” Manuel looked outside and saw that there were no clouds, lightning, rain, or thunder. The streets were wet, but there was no sign of a storm. Manuel said, “Now, that isn’t weird…” Michelle said, “Kaylee, did you see the storm??” Kaylee said, “I definitely heard it, but I didn’t look outside.” Manuel said, “Let’s just try and get back to sleep.” Michelle said, “What was this dream about??” Manuel looked at her and said, “I saw many innocent people killed by a dark force… And somehow, my Sages were connected to it.” Michelle said, “What exactly do you mean??” Manuel said, “I can’t really explain it. However, I was told that I was revealed to a plan that involved all the Sages.” Kaylee said, “How many of us were there??” Manuel said, “There were six of you… Soo, we’re to find the other two Sages… How?? I don’t really know yet.” Kaylee said, “Wait, if we only know of three, which is us, how can there be two more??” Michelle said, “Yeah, I only count 5 of us… Is there one more??” Manuel said, “I believe in time, he will reveal himself. Soo, our main focus is to find the other two Sages…” Michelle said, “You think they might come to us??” Suddenly, Manuel’s door-bell rang. Manuel said, “You think, Michelle??” Manuel grabbed his robe and walked downstairs. Kaylee and Michelle followed him downstairs. Manuel opened the door and saw another girl standing outside, dripping wet from the rain. Manuel said, “Michelle, go get a couple towels, hurry.” Michelle grabbed the towels from the near-by bathroom and gave them to Manuel. Manuel said, “Here, come in…” Once the girl was able to step into the light and Manuel saw her face, Manuel said, “Kimberly?!” Kim looked at him and said, “Soo, you do remember me…” Manuel said, “Michelle, Kaylee… Make sure Kim gets dried off and well comfortable.” Michelle said, “You got it, Manuel.” Michelle and Kaylee took Kim upstairs to help her settle in one of the spare rooms. After they were gone from sight, Manuel said, “I don’t how you got here, but you shouldn’t be here…” Manuel turned around and saw the Bluish Figure sitting on his couch. Manuel said, “Why are you here??” The Bluish Figure stood up and said, “I’m taking your ship, Manuel…” Manuel said, “Wait what?! I don’t think soo…” The Bluish Figure said, “I don’t have a choice. I’m commanded by our masters to take the ship. Besides, it was Valmar that was able to tell me where it was.” Manuel said, “I can’t believe Valmar would do such a thing.” The Bluish Figure said, “Hey! It was either give up the ship or be banned from the Seven Sages. Soo, don’t go blaming him. Anyways, I wanted to tell you that I already have the ship, safe somewhere. However, for now, you have new ship, below.” The Bluish Figure disappeared. Manuel said, “Wait, what ship is this??” The Computer Voice said, “Manuel, your new ship is ready.” Manuel said, “Inspect the ship. I want a thorough analysis of this ship.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” Manuel walked back upstairs to see how the girls were doing. After Manuel walked into the room, Kim got up and jumped into Manuel’s arms. Manuel hugged her and said, “Kim, you do know I’m taken right??” Kim laughed a bit and said, “I know, but it’s really good to see you.” Michelle said, “Kim was having a really hard time in Japan and she finally had the money to come back to Arizona.” Kaylee said, “Soo, as soon as she was in Arizona, she had enough money to get to the high school. From there, she walked.” Manuel said, “Well, you must’ve had a hell of an adventure in Japan.” Kim said, “Let’s just say, I’m not going back until I know I have the money this time…” Manuel said, “You could always work in Kaylee’s store…” Kaylee said, ‘Yeah, that’s a good idea. I can have someone that I can trust to run my store, while I tend to the others.” Kim said, “Umm, Manuel?? Can I get some sleep??” Manuel said, “Sure sure. You can set-up shop here, in this room.” Manuel, Michelle, and Kaylee left Kim’s room to let her get settled in. Manuel had them follow him into his room. After shutting the door, Manuel said, “Listen girls… Kim was one of the faces I saw in my dream… I think she’s another Sage… We have to find ways to unlock it.” Kaylee said, “I can always talk about our old times… I know she and I played Final Fantasy a lot before… Maybe that is an important key to unlocking her power…” Manuel said, “Good idea. But, let’s let her sleep. She’s had a rough time. And we should be sleeping, as well.” After saying good night to everyone, they went back to their rooms and finally went back to bed. However, though they slept, the storm came back. The rain continued throughout the rest of the night.

Finally waking up, the four got up and made their way downstairs. Manuel started a big breakfast. While Manuel was cooking, the girls were talking about their high school years. Manuel kept hearing his name over and over again and said, “Hey… Who’s talking about me??” The girls giggled and Manuel said, “It’s like I’m back in high school again… You girls are giggling over a guy again…” Michelle said, “Well, remember when you came on campus in your military uniform??” Kaylee said, “Oh my God… That was a heavenly day for me…” Michelle said, “I know, me too.” Kim said, “I couldn’t stop staring…” Manuel laughed and said, “Yes, I do remember when I did.” The girls kept on talking about high school memories. Manuel said, “Hey girls… Did you know I still have my uniform??” The girls stopped talking. Michelle said, “Do you still wear it??” Manuel said, “Yes, I do. I can always put it back on and help you girls remember…” The girls giggled even more. Manuel just started laughing again. Manuel said, “Okay girls. Breakfast is ready. Come get your plates.” The girls went into the kitchen and saw that Manuel made pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast. Manuel said, “I hope you girls are hungry… Because I know I am.” The girls grabbed their plates and sat down at the table. Manuel said, “Who wants what to drink??” They all wanted Orange Juice. Manuel got out the Orange Juice from the fridge and placed it on the table. Manuel grabbed him a Dr. Pepper and sat down. Michelle said, “A Dr. Pepper… Is that healthy??” Manuel said, “It is to me… I always had a Dr. Pepper, every morning. You know that.” Michelle laughed a bit and said, “Yeah, I remember.” They ate all the breakfast that Manuel made. Manuel said, “Okay, are we ready to go to work??” Kim said, “Wait, when do you three work??” Manuel said, “We help Kaylee run her business. She has Michelle making sure that any shipped material is accounted for. Kaylee always over-sees her stores and she has me running the store near here.” Kim said, “Well, what should I do??” Kaylee said, “You can help run the store at this address.” Kaylee gave her the address and said, “I’ve already notified them that you will be running the store from now on.” Kim said, “Thanks Kaylee…” All four of them got dressed and got ready for work. Kim and Kaylee went in Kaylee’s car, while Manuel and Michelle went in his car. Manuel drove to his store. After they got out of his car, Manuel opened up the store and Michelle checked to see if any shipments came overnight. A few new products were brought in. Manuel kept the store locked until they were done setting up the new product. As they were getting the new product out, Manuel and Michelle were talking. Manuel said, “Soo, do you think it was by chance that Kim happened to appear after I explained the dream??” Michelle said, “I don’t know… it’s a really big possibility. But, if that’s the case, then where’s the other Sage you saw…” Manuel said, “I know… That’s the last question…” After they managed to set-up their new displays of their new product, Michelle said, “I should go see if they set-up the new item too…” Manuel gave her the keys and gave her a kiss. Manuel said, “Let me know if you’re coming back.” Michelle said, “Don’t I always??” Manuel smiled and said, “Yes, you do.” Michelle kissed Manuel and left. Manuel finally opened the doors and waited for customers to come in. Soon, there were many teens and anime people coming in to see the new product. They were buying them like crazy. As a few hours passed, the crowd finally died down. Michelle came back and saw that all the new products were gone. Michelle said, “Wow, that fast huh…” Manuel said, “Yep. They were swarming the rack. Luckily we still have a lot left.” Michelle said, “We can set them up tomorrow morning. I brought some Jack in the Box for lunch, is that okay??” Manuel said, “Jack in the Box is always okay. Do I get a Dr. Pepper??” Michele gave him his Dr. Pepper and his food. Manuel turned the sign that said, “Out to Lunch.” After Manuel sat back down, the door-bell rang. Manuel said, “We’re eating lunch, please wait outside.” The voice said, “Manuel, is that you…” Manuel looked up and saw that he recognized that voice and turned to face the person. Michelle said, “Do you know Manuel personally??” The woman said, “Yes, I used to go to school with him. Santa Fe to be exact.” Manuel said, “I thought I told you to never contact me again… How did you find me??” The woman said, “That’s of no concern, right now. I need your help.” Manuel said, “Soo you can try and get me to fall for your last joke?? Not a chance, Tiffany.” The person walked towards Manuel and got down on her knees to beg for his help. Manuel said, “Why did you come back??” Tiffany said, “Because, I need your help to find my sister… She’s been missing for quite a while now…” Manuel said, “It’s her fault. I warned her. Now she should learn her lesson.” Michelle said, “Who are we talking about, Manuel??” Manuel said, “Her sister, Danielle Stinger. Her nickname was Dani. Remember her, Michelle??” Michelle said, “Yes, I do. What happened to her??” Tiffany said, “She went with this boy that we didn’t trust. We tried to argue with her, but she’s stubborn. Now, she needs our help.” Manuel said, “Your help. I’m not helping her. She should learn her lesson.” Tiffany said, “He’s forcing her to marry him…” Manuel was quiet. Michelle said, “This boy wouldn’t happen to be Ryan, would it…” Tiffany nodded her head. Michelle said, “Oh that’s it. I knew something was wrong with that boy…” Manuel said, “Fine. We will find her. I will make sure she gets back home safely.” Tiffany gave Manuel a hug and left. Manuel said, “I knew Ryan was obsessed with Dani… I just never knew this much… Call Kaylee and tell her the situation. We will have to close up the stores early today.” Michelle said, “Soo much for our relaxing weekend…” Manuel said, “I know…” Michelle called Kaylee and told her the situation. After getting off the phone with her, Michelle said, “Kaylee thinks we should just close up the stores now. We will have to work on repairing your Head-Quarters…” Manuel said, “Yeah, I saw what you did to it.” Michelle said, “I’m sorry. I was really mad.” Manuel and Michelle cleaned up and closed down the store. After getting back into Manuel’s car, they drove back home. Michelle called Kaylee and told her that they were gonna be in the Head-Quarters. Kaylee pulled in, just after Manuel did. Soo, they all met up and shut the garage door. Once they were upstairs and in Manuel’s closet, Manuel activated the elevator. Once they finally arrived at the elevator door, it opened. Michelle and Kaylee were surprised. Manuel said, “You don’t think I just spend all that time practicing music did you…” The Head-Quarters was rebuilt and better than ever. Built with new and fast computer systems, newer TV sets, bigger computer monitors, and all are equipped with the best technology and programs ever created. Manuel said, “Now, let’s find Dani…” Manuel logged into a computer and projected his screen onto the big screen. Manuel used his knowledge to find Dani. The computer was able to exactly pinpoint Dani’s current location, which was in Show Low. Manuel said, “Hmm, it seems he’s keeping her in a near-by hotel. But, according to these pictures, the ceremony is to take place outside… In the woods, to be exact…” Michelle said, “It’s too bright for any sneak around.” Manuel said, “The ceremony isn’t scheduled until tomorrow morning. We have all night tonight to get her back, which I plan on doing.” Manuel gave them the plan that he was just working out of his head. Once they were able to fix it and make it better, they planned to leave later on that evening. Once they were ready, they went to Manuel’s ship. The ship was above ground and ready for take-off. Once everyone was inside and ready, Manuel blasted the ship off and they were on their way to Show Low.

Once they reached Show Low, they landed in the forest, near-by the hotel. Manuel had the camouflage on for the ship. After the exited the ship, they got into position. Manuel said, “Are you girls ready??” Michelle said, “I’m set. Let’s do this.” Kaylee said, “Ryan’s going down.” Kim said, “I’m ready.” They made their way to the hotel, passing by all the guards. They made their way to the floor and window where they saw Dani in the wedding dress. Manuel said, “This is just like an episode I watched from my show… She’s even chained to the bed. Not on my watch, Ryan.” Manuel opened the window very quietly and Michelle, Kim, and Kaylee quickly slipped inside without making any sounds. Manuel got in and shut the window quickly and quietly. Manuel saw that Dani was sleeping on the bed. Manuel heard someone walking to the door. Manuel signaled them to hide quickly. Once they were out of sight, Ryan came walking inside. Ryan sat on the bed, where Dani was fast asleep. Ryan said, “Tomorrow morning, we will be wed, finally. And then, you will understand that we are meant for each other.” Manuel silently shut the door. Ryan turned around and saw that the door was shut. Ryan took out his weapon, wondering if anyone was in the room. Suddenly, Michelle appeared in front of him and punched Ryan soo hard, that they heard his nose break. Ryan fell to the floor, yelling for his guards to come in. Once the guards came running in, Kim and Kaylee took care of them easily. Ryan saw that they were all standing there. Ryan said, “It’s my dream come true… All the girls I liked are here.” Manuel said, “As am I, Ryan…” Manuel appeared and Ryan said, “You… You were the one that caused all my bad misfortune.” Manuel laughed and said, “Lying isn’t a good luck charm. It’s just something you revolve your life around and everything you do. You forget Ryan… I stopped you once before… I can stop you again…” Ryan went to grab for his weapon, but Michelle grabbed it and threw it out the window. Manuel said, “We will be taking Dani back.” Ryan said, “No, you will not, Manuel. You managed to take every other woman I like from me… I will not let you take the last one by your lies.” Suddenly, a voice came from behind him that said, “Manuel has never lied to anyone.” Ryan looked and saw that Dani was awake. Dani said, “Did my sister contact you??” Manuel said, “Yeah, she did.” Dani said, “Then, she did get my message…” Ryan said, “I thought you said you were inviting her… Isn’t that why you called her??” Dani said, “You see, we both went to school with Manuel, a long time ago. Her and Manuel created a secret language that she taught me. And since I know that she remembered it, I told her to contact him that I was being held against my will for a forced wedding.” Manuel said, “But, she said it to where you wouldn’t’ve understood.” Ryan said, “Doesn’t matter now… She’s mine.” Suddenly, Dani kicked Ryan in the face, hitting his already broken nose. Ryan fell back down to the ground. Manuel had Kaylee release Dani from the shackles that were on her arms. Michelle kept Ryan pinned to the ground. Michelle hit Ryan in the back with her knee, making sure he couldn’t really get up. Michelle walked back to Manuel. All the girls were around Manuel, ready to depart. Ryan managed to face Manuel and the girls. Ryan reached for his secondary weapon he kept under the bed. Manuel held out his hand and said, “Hey Ryan…” Ryan looked at him. Manuel said, “Want to see something cool??” Ryan said, “Like what…” Manuel said, “Chaos Control!!” Suddenly, they were gone. Ryan screamed, “NOOOOO!!” They re-appeared on the ship. Manuel ran to the main control room and brought the ship back online. Once the ship was ready, Manuel blasted the ship off back for home, leaving Ryan to suffer his fate.

Once they were back home, Manuel contacted Tiffany, letting her know that he has Dani and that’s she’s safe. After talking to her, Manuel said, “Okay girls… I think it’s about time we go to sleep… Dani, you can have the last spare room.” Once they were heading upstairs, Manuel heard the alarm go off. Manuel said, “What’s this?? Girls, follow me…” Manuel led them to the closet and they accessed the elevator. Once they arrived at the Head-Quarters, Manuel logged in and saw that a transmission from Haven City was sent. Manuel activated the transmission and Manuel’s long-time friend, David, was on the screen. Manuel said, “What it is, David??” David said, “We have a situation here. There’s another Sage here, and he says he’s knows you personally.” Manuel said, “Is his name Valmar??” Manuel said, “No, it’s not Valmar. He said that you refer to him as The Dark Sage…” Manuel stood there, in horror that The Dark Sage was back. Manuel said, “That’s impossible. Me and Valmar destroyed The Dark Sage, a long time ago. He’s responsible for Cindy’s death. I will be there, David. Don’t kill him, yet. I want the honors.” David nodded his head and ended the transmission. Manuel said, “We are going to Haven City. Let’s leave now.” Manuel had them gather their gear. Dani said, “What am I suppose to use??” Manuel thought about it and said, “Okay girls, follow me…” Manuel brought them outback, where Manuel raised the ship from the ground. The ship wasn’t different to them, but Manuel was able to tell the difference. Manuel said, “Let’s get on board.” Once they were on board, they saw that they had their own rooms. Once they went into their own rooms, they saw more weapons and clothes. Manuel thought to himself, “Soo, this is what the Bluish Figure meant…” Manuel said, “Computer, convert to the ship’s mainframe.” The Computer Voice said, “Done.” Manuel said, “Okay, Computer, take us to Haven City.” The Computer Voice said, “Leaving now…” Suddenly, the ship took off and was in space, heading to their first destination. Manuel had them sleep in their room, while Manuel and Michelle were in their room. Once they got into comfier clothes, they just fell asleep. The ship was gently flying through space, to their first adventure in many months. Their first adventure was at Haven City. However, as Manuel slept, his thoughts kept on wondering why The Dark Sage has returned, when he and Valmar destroyed him.

Chapter One - A Haven City Re-Union

As the ship continued its journey to a familiar world, Manuel, Michelle, Kim, Kaylee, and Dani were fast asleep in their rooms. In one room, Kim was hidden in her blanket. In another room, Kaylee was half-covered and stretched out on her bed, like a cat. In another room, Dani was safely tucked in, barely moving about. In the master room, Manuel and Michelle were asleep in each other’s arms, soo comfortable looking that one can be sleepy by looking. It was like they were painted together. Suddenly, noise started coming from one of the rooms. Within seconds, one of the bedroom doors opened. Suddenly, Manuel came walking out of his room. Manuel walked into the kitchen and grabbed something to drink from the fridge. Once he grabbed a Dr. Pepper, he shut the fridge door. Just when he was about to close it, he was startled by someone. Manuel said, “Michelle, don’t do that…” Michelle said, “Thirsty, were we??” Manuel said, “From this nightmare that lingers on my thoughts…” Michelle sat down at the table and signaled for Manuel to sit down, as well. After Manuel sat down, he said, “You see… I had that nightmare, probably for a reason. Maybe it was a prediction, Michelle. The fact that my Sages get destroyed or turned against me has to have significance…” Michelle said, “Do you think this dream will become real??” Manuel said, “I’m not entirely sure…” Michelle said, “And, what of this Dark Sage?? Is he part of the Seven Sages??” Manuel said, “No, he is not. He is a Dark Sage that uses his abilities and power to destroy the Sages. I don’t truly know how he’s alive, because me and Valmar destroyed him, after he destroyed Cindy.” Michelle said, “Then, how has he returned??” Manuel thought about it and said, “The only way that The Dark Sage can be resurrected, is when a Heart of Light and a Heart of Darkness combine.” Michelle said, “However, isn’t that how every Sage is created?? Aren’t they created with equal amounts of Light and Darkness??” Manuel said, “Yes, every Sage has equal amounts of Light and Darkness within them. However, if fused correctly and at a certain power level, The Dark Sage can be re-born. I will not let The Dark Sage defeat the Sages.” Michelle said, “From the adventures you’ve told me and of what you said to David, you and Valmar destroyed him, twice right??” Manuel said, “Yeah, and then he mentioned something about ‘The Destruction of the Sages’ and said that he will not let me sense him, this time.” Michelle said, “Did you ever think that maybe he could be hidden within the Sages??” Manuel said, “You mean, like a dormant power within one of the Sages??” Michelle said, “Yeah, and I’m just speaking hypothetically, of course.” Manuel said, “Hmm, I never thought of something like that. That’s a good point, Michelle. I was right in my choice in both my Apprentice and Wife.” Michelle blushed and said, “I made the right choice, too.” Suddenly, Kim, Kaylee, and Dani came walking around the corner, somewhat awake and dressed. Michelle covered Manuel’s eyes and said, “Why can’t you girls wear clothes when you sleep…” Kaylee said, “Because they confine my movements…” Kim said, “Because it’s comfy, to me.” Dani said, “Too tired to put on clothes…” Michelle said, “My husband is married and still always surrounded by girls…” Still having his eyes covered, Manuel said, “Michelle, you never argued about looking. It was just touching and going farther.” Michelle turned to him and said, “Doesn’t mean you can look, still… We are your Sages, Manuel.” Manuel laughed and said, “Michelle, don’t you trust me…” Michelle said, “I do.” Kaylee said, “Wait, if we aren’t allowed to be revealing, how come you are??” Michelle said, “I’m his Apprentice and Wife. I have the privilege.” They all started to laugh, until the alarm went off. Still blind, Manuel said, “Okay girls… Get your gear on, your weapons ready, and meet me in the Teleportation Room.” The girls ran back to their rooms. Manuel said, “May I be able to see now??” Michelle said, “Yes, you can. And, let’s go.” Michelle grabbed Manuel’s arm and pulled him into the master room to get ready. Once everyone was dressed and ready, they all met in the Teleportation Room. Manuel said, “Computer, teleport us inside the Haven City Castle.” The Computer Voice said, “My scanners indicate that David isn’t there.” Manuel said, “He’s there. He didn’t learn nothing when I taught him magic… Just teleport us inside his Castle, Computer.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel. Teleporting to destination: Interior of the Haven City Castle.” With a blinding white flash, all 5 of the Sages were gone from the ship.

Once they all appeared in the Castle, they saw that it was totally thrashed inside. All of them looked around in shock that something could happen like this. Manuel said, “Maybe we should’ve come sooner…” Suddenly, Manuel summoned his Staff of Sages and tapped the ground, three times. After a sudden pause, a voice said, “About time, TGS.” Manuel turned around and said, “Better late than never… But, I can’t really say the same for your castle, David.” David appeared and started walking towards them. Michelle said, “I didn’t know you could vanish…” David said, “Well, I learned from the best. TGS, whoever this Dark Sage is, I want him off my world.” Manuel said, “I understand, David. Did The Dark Sage say anything about where he was going??” David said, “Not entirely. All I know is that he wants to face the Sages, very badly. According to him, he has a score to settle with the Sages.” Manuel said, “Well, I know how much you don’t really like being in your form… But, he could really use the help, David.” David nodded his head and raised his hand into the air, casting a spell on himself. Within seconds, David transformed into his Sage Form. Custom green and black designed Robe, with “Krimson King of Haven” written in the Old Precursor Language on the back, double custom guns on the sides, and fully equipped with his special swords. Manuel said, “He is our last Sage. I always made sure that when it was ready, he was able to reveal his power.” Michelle said, “Soo, we have all our Sages??” Manuel said, “Not really. According to the Book of Sages, we need Seven Sages. Soo, our adventure isn’t completely over.” Michelle said, “I thought you said you only saw Six of us.” Manuel said, “I know… That’s what worries me… However, now’s not the time to worry. We have The Dark Sage roaming freely and we need to stop him.” David said, “Soo, how do we find him…” Manuel said, “Well, if I remember correctly, he will try and acquire more power. Was there anymore Dark Eco here??” David said, “I haven’t sent any of my KGs to dig up. Plus, I haven’t sensed any. Why, is there more??” Manuel said, “I don’t sense any, either. However, I’m sure he will find some. Soo, our first place to explore is the Hidden Catacombs.” David nodded his head and activated a switch from behind his throne. One of the walls revealed a pathway. Manuel said, “Let’s go, carefully… I’m not entirely sure if The Dark Sage has created any obstacles for us to defeat…” They all took out their weapons and followed behind Manuel. Once everyone was in the pathway, the entrance closed up. Manuel said, “Okay, now it’s dark…” David pulled out a torch and lit it. David said, “Here… This should work…” Manuel grabbed it and said, “Just like old times…” Manuel continued their journey through the pathways. After reaching the underground maze and fighting many enemies that have appeared, Manuel said, “Okay, this maze will be a bit of a challenge…” Manuel had them split it into two teams. On one team, it was Kim, Kaylee, and Dani. On the other team, it was Manuel, David, and Michelle. They split their ways and explored the huge maze. As everyone explored, David said, “Hey, I’m gonna check this way…” As David split away from Manuel and Michelle, Manuel said, “This doesn’t make sense…” Michelle said, “What, exactly??” Manuel said, “The Dark Sage… Why did he return…” Michelle said, “Why do you think he’s returned??” Manuel said, “Maybe to start a chain of events… Maybe…” Michelle said, “Maybe to end what he once started…” Manuel looked at her and said, “For some reason, I feel that you’re right… But what did he start??” Michelle said, “I don’t really know… But, I hope that he doesn’t claim anymore Sages…” Manuel said, “I do agree with you. I don’t want to lose you again… Or any of the other Sages, for that matter…” Before Michelle could say anything, David shouted, “Hey!! I found the exit!!” Suddenly, the tall magnetic walls disappeared. Manuel said, “I guess Jak left a switch anyways…” David said, “I guess soo… Let’s continue our search.” Once they met back up with everyone, Manuel took the lead and led them deeper underground and into the Hidden Catacombs. Once they arrived, it was like they saw an underground city. Many buildings were still standing tall, streets seemed to be visible, and even houses were still standing. Manuel said, “I cannot believe this… A whole underground city…” David said, “Buried deep under the surface… Why was it hidden??” Manuel saw remains of what seemed to be animals. Manuel examined them and said, “This place wasn’t populated by humans, David. These remains are too small.” David and the others walked to his position. David examined the remains and said, “Ottsel… Just like Daxter…” Manuel said, “David, this is where the Three Precursor Gods once resided… This is the birth-place of the Precursors.” Suddenly, a voice said, “And it’s too bad that none of them are still alive…” Suddenly, a staff was thrown at them. Manuel caught it and saw that it had a Precursor Orb at the top. Manuel said, “You destroyed the Precursor Gods…” David said, “Which means, you destroyed this place.” Michelle said, “That would actually explain why the remains looked fresh…” Manuel said, “How dare you destroy such a creature… These creatures only wanted peace.” Suddenly, The Dark Sage came walking out from the shadows and said, “I gave them their peace. Never told them it was gonna be to stay alive…” Manuel said, “You have claimed enough lives… We are here to end this.” The Dark Sage said, “As much as I want to stay behind, I have to be taking my leave.” Manuel summoned his Staff of Sages and said, “You are not going anywhere…” The Dark Sage said, “Well now, I wouldn’t leave you empty-handed, now would I, Manuel...” Suddenly, the last Precursor God came stumbling out of the dark shadows. The Dark Sage turned to him and said, “Just as I predicted, the Sages have come here to finish what they started. They destroyed your town and now command your staff. If you wish to destroy them, accept this.” The Dark Sage held out his hand and two swords appeared. The Precursor God grabbed them and suddenly, he started to transform into a beast. Manuel said, “How can you do this to such a delicate creature?! You’re filling its mind with deception and lies…” The Dark Sage said, “Then, you should’ve finished me off, back in Emerald City. This is just the beginning, Great Sage!! The Beginning of the Destruction of the Sages!!” Suddenly, The Dark Sage disappeared and the newly powered Ottsel was wielding swords and as tall as the Sages were. Manuel said, “We have to defeat this creature… Hopefully, I can reverse this curse placed on him…” The newly powered Ottsel jumped at them, with lightning speeds, and the battle was underway.

The Sages spread out, while the creature attacked Manuel. Defending himself with only the Staff of Sages, Manuel said, “Attack him!!” All of the Sages started to attack the creature and managed to let Manuel throw him off. The creature turned its attention to the other Sages and started to wildly slash his swords at them. The Sages managed to jump and dodge the attacks, but were taking damage as well. Manuel gathered his strength and power again and attacked the creature with his Staff of Sages. Once Manuel struck the creature in the back of the head, the creature was stunned for a bit and fell to the floor. After the creature fell, Manuel said, “This really can’t be how it ends…” Michelle said, “Wouldn’t The Dark Sage planned this better??” Suddenly, the creature started to move around. Manuel and the Sages jumped back, arming themselves with their weapons. The creature suddenly spoke, “Great Sage… Stop me from hurting anyone else… You must destroy me… This evil cannot be released.” Manuel said, “I can try and reverse this. Don’t give up.” The creature said, “I will not allow that. You must destroy me. Destroy me before this evil can…” Suddenly, the creature stood back up and started to slash around again. Manuel said, “Sages… Take down this creature, with our full force. Death is our only option.” The Sages powered up to their fullest and attacked the creature. Within minutes, the Sages brought down the creature, permanently. After Manuel destroyed the twin swords, the Ottsel was returned to his original size and stature, but not to life. The remains of the Ottsel started to age rapidly and it became a matter of bones within seconds. Manuel said, “Maybe those bones were the other Ottsel Gods…” David said, “I still can’t believe that they were still alive… I thought they disappeared, after Jak helped them…” Michelle said, “Maybe they disappeared here?? I wouldn’t know. This isn’t my area of expertise…” David said, “Well, let’s get back to our above world…” Manuel said, “Yeah, we’ve meddled in this affair for a little too long… I’m starting to wonder when and why this place was built.” As they were walking back, the buildings and structures started to fall. The Sages turned around and saw that the hidden city was falling apart. However, the hidden catacombs started to fall apart, as well. Manuel said, “Let’s get out of here!!” The Sages started to run through the hidden catacombs, dodging all the fallen rocks and boulders. Once they were back at the entrance of David’s Castle, David shut the entrance door. Michelle said, “I guess they wanted to really keep their existence a secret.” Manuel said, “And we shall keep it that way.” David said, “I don’t remember this being part of the adventure…” Manuel said, “Think of it as the Haven City Re-Union…” David laughed and said, “Soo, since I’m a Sage, am I to adventure with you all??” Manuel said, “You can, but I’m sure we can manage. You go ahead and stay here. I don’t want your subjects to worry about whose gonna run Haven City while you’re gone…” David laughed and said, “Yeah, you have a point. Okay, well if the time calls for it, call me.” Manuel nodded his head and said, “Will do, brother.” The Sages suddenly disappeared, leaving David back at his throne of his Castle. David said, “A hidden society underneath the very castle that was built to worship that society…” Suddenly, the Bluish Figure appeared. David said, “And who are you?? Seems to be just a spirit…” The Bluish Figure said, “Where’s Manuel and the other Sages?!” David said, “They just left. Why, what’s the hurry??” The Bluish Figure said, “No time… Manuel has to know before it’s too late…” The Bluish Figure disappeared.

Back on the ship, Manuel and the Sages were battered and tired. Manuel said, “I just say that we get some sleep…” The Sages agreed and headed to their rooms. Manuel and Michelle went to their rooms. Once they were in comfier clothes, they went to lie down. Suddenly, an email appeared on Manuel’s personal computer. Manuel said, “Who would email me…” Manuel walked to his computer, with Michelle following closely behind. Once Manuel logged in and went to open the email, he felt Michelle’s breath on him. Manuel said, “Is something bothering you??” Michelle said, “What girl is sending you pictures now??” Manuel laughed and said, “None. Unless you’re sending them…” Michelle laughed and said, “I only did that twice…” Manuel said, “Anyways… What’s this email about…” Manuel opened the email and saw that it was just a link. Manuel said, “No email address… No Subject… Who sent this??” Michelle said, “Open the link??” Manuel clicked on the link and it opened a picture of an invitation. Manuel said, “An invitation??” Michelle said, “Who’s ‘The K-N-D,’ Manuel??” Suddenly, Manuel said, “The Kids Next Door?! Impossible…” Suddenly, the alarm went off. Manuel said, “I knew that was coming…” Michelle said, “What’s going on, Manuel??” Manuel said, “Follow me…” Manuel and Michelle walked into the computer room. Manuel activated the transmission and David appeared on the screen. Manuel said, “I guess you got the email??” David said, “How did they find us??” Manuel said, “My guess is that we never changed our emails… Remember, we disappeared after we left behind the Book of KND. I just didn’t expect them to send an invitation. Soo, you think we should make our grand appearance…” David said, “Not like this… Remember?? The leader of the KND cannot exceed the age of 13.” Manuel said, “Then, we will need the re-commissioning device, once more…” David said, “Sounds good. Soo, you want me to teleport on the ship or back at home??” Manuel said, “Well, I’m gonna set the course for home and we will probably be asleep. You can teleport to the ship and sleep in your room… Teleport when you are ready. We will need our kid-like senses back, soon… Until then…” Manuel saluted David and ended the transmission. Manuel said, “We are heading back home… I will explain more, Michelle…” Michelle said, “Let’s just sleep…” The both smiled and went back into the room. Once they were in bed, they quickly fell asleep. With the ship heading back home, Manuel and the other Sages are heading back home. Manuel and David are going to realize that the KND are going to need them to save their KND foundation.

Chapter Two - The K-N-D Founders

As the ship made its way back home to Planet Earth, Manuel and the Sages were fast asleep. Suddenly, a flash of a bright white light appeared from the Teleportation Room. David came walking out from the Teleportation Room. David said, “Hmm, no one’s awake…” David walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. David said, “I thought at least someone would be awake…” Suddenly, a voice said, “Well, if it isn’t David…” David turned to look and saw Michelle standing. David said, “Michelle… Shouldn’t you be sleeping in your husband’s arms??” Michelle said, “I have some questions…” Michelle sat down on the couch, across from David. David laughed and said, “Nice outfit…” Michelle summoned a blanket and said, “Anyways…” David said, “Sorry. I shouldn’t be looking… Kaylee may get upset…” Michelle said, “You like Kaylee?? You know her real name is…” David said, “Krystal… Yeah, I know. Anyways, your questions are what, Michelle…” Michelle said, “What is soo crazy about the Kids Next Door??” David said, “The KND was founded by the two greatest KND operatives that have ever lived…” Michelle said, “Two kids founded the KND… How is that possible?? I heard that it was a very powerful kid organization.” Suddenly, a voice said, “Go ahead and tell her, David.” Michelle and David looked and saw that Manuel was awake. Manuel said, “The two that founded KND lived way beyond their past years, because they wanted to continue their roles as the KND Presidents.” David said, “Soo, those two Presidents continued their quests in hiding… However, when they could finalize the amount of operatives and missions, a war started. It was the KND fighting against a powerful evil.” Manuel said, “An evil that knew no limit. An evil that once had a chance to destroy the Book of KND… A book that contained mission operations, all the 2x4 technology, the president’s logs, everything about the KND. That evil was soo bent on getting that book that when he finally held it, he didn’t truly know what to do with it…” David said, “It’s been said that one of the KND Founders got free and fought for the book… And then, it’s been said that the battle for the book became the battle for the freedom of the KND. If the Founder could get his hands upon that book again, he could turn the tide and defeat that evil.” Michelle said, “And I heard that once he got the book, he ran for it and hid within this evil’s castle… From there, I don’t know what happened…” Manuel said, “The Founder hid for days. While his KND operatives were being tortured, he was forced to fall back to regain his strength. Once he was able to fight again, he collided head to head with that same evil. This time, the KND Founder defeated the evil and sealed it away, within a mirror.” David said, “That mirror is still hung in the KND President’s Tree-House.” Michelle said, “Soo, what happened to the Founders??” Manuel looked at David and David looked at Manuel. David looked back at Michelle and said, “The Founders continued their journey and decided to announce that their disappearance was because of growing old.” Manuel said, “Since then… We haven’t been involved with them…” Michelle said, “You two are the KND Founders?!” Manuel said, “Yes, we are. However, my only guess is that the evil that was trapped behind that mirror has been released.” Suddenly, the alarm went off. Manuel said, “Computer, get the house ready. Once we’ve landed, transport yourself into the house’s mainframe. I will need you to pull up the invitation and the location.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” The alarm was de-activated and Manuel said, “Let’s get ready and prepared.” Everyone left to their rooms and gathered their equipment. Once everyone was ready to leave, they met up in the living room. Suddenly, the ship landed and powered down. Manuel said, “That’s our signal.” Everyone exited off the ship and was back in Manuel’s house. Manuel said, “Let’s go to the main room… Follow me.” Everyone followed Manuel, as he led them to the Head-Quarters main room, from the hangar. Once everyone was inside, Manuel said, “Okay, here’s the situation. This is going to be a team adventure. Me and David are to be the only ones to adventure on this mission.” The girls started to complain. Manuel said, “HEY!!” The girls stopped arguing. Manuel said, “I know the decision isn’t the best, but I’ve arranged for you four girls to be pampered and taken care of.” Michelle said, “You got us spa arrangements?!” Kaylee said, “I’ve been needing a day away from this…” Kim said, “That sounds heavenly… I’m game.” Dani said, “I could use the day off…” Manuel said, “Is that okay with your, honey?? Don’t worry; it’s my treat for all of you.” Michelle said, “As long as I get the best treatment… I’m game.” Manuel said, “Just tell them that it’s on Manuel and they will know what to do. Ok??” Michelle said, “Okay. You two be safe ok??” Manuel gave Michelle a kiss and said, “Don’t worry, we will be safe. Now, you four… Go!!” Manuel raised his hands and teleported the girls out of the house. Manuel said, “You find the Re-Commissioning Device??” David pulled it out from the back storeroom and said, “Right here… It appears to be in good shape…” Manuel grabbed it from David and said, “Let’s hope this works…” Manuel activated the Device and a bright white light filled the room. After it disappeared, Manuel and David were converted back to their kid-like looks and ways. Manuel said, “Wow, I haven’t been this young in a very long time…” David said, “Remember when we could ride the bus for free??” Manuel laughed and said, “Yep, those were the days…” Manuel went to the computer and RSVP the invitation as the Founders. Manuel said, “That should get their attention…” David said, “You think they will believe that…” Manuel said, “Let’s just find out… Computer, get our KND shuttle ready, please…” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” Manuel and David were walking back to the hangar to fly their shuttle to the location of the meeting/party/gathering of the KND operatives. As they waited for the ship to arrive, Manuel said, “You think it’s wise to come back??” David said, “We were summoned. Every KND operative has to appear… Every operative means us too…” Manuel said, “I know, but why would they put our invitations out?? Unless, it’s a signal that they need our help.” David said, “That’s what I was thinking, Manuel. You ready??” Manuel said, “Yes, I am. I’m ready to command my double swords and my staff.” The ship finally arrived and Manuel and David walked onto the ship. Manuel sat down in the captain’s chair and David sat down in his chair, where all the controls were. Manuel said, “When you’re ready, David.” David nodded his head and blasted the ship off to the KND location. David said, “You think Michelle will figure out that it was you that defeated that evil??” Manuel said, “If she does, she does. If she doesn’t, she’ll get it eventually.” The ship was on its way to the KND meeting/party/gathering at the President’s Tree-House.

KND operatives were checking many computers for any RSVP kids. Many kids made their RSVP. One of the operatives was stunned that a RSVP was from the Founders. The operatives called over the commander, Numba 1. Numba 1 came over and saw the RSVP and said, “This isn’t possible… They’ve been adults since the foundation…” Numba 1 pondered what the RSVP meant and said, “Keep it on record… I wanna see if the Founders will appear.” Numba 1 left the control room and made his way back to the main hall, where all the operatives were. Numba 1 said, “I hope they do appear… It’s been years since I last saw them… I wonder what brings them back…” Suddenly, the operative that announces who has arrived proudly said, “KND Operatives, I’m humbly proud to present the Founders of the Kids Next Door!! President Manuel and President David, aka Valmar and Krimson!!” The KND Operatives were ultimately stunned. The music ceased to stop playing and everyone froze in place. Manuel said, “Is that how you greet your Founders??” David said, “Don’t let our appearances ruin the evening. Continue the party!!” The music continued and the operatives were trying to talk to the Founders. Numba 1 said, “I truly can’t believe it. The KND Founders have returned…” Numba 1 walked down the stairs to see if he could meet with them. Manuel and David were talking with many operatives, when Manuel spotted Numba 1. Manuel said, “David, let’s go.” Manuel and David made their way through all the operatives and met up with Numba 1. Manuel said, “We need to talk with you…” Manuel and David led Numba 1 into a room and locked it. Manuel said, “You know why we are here, don’t you…” Numba 1 said, “Not exactly…” David said, “No one has access to our email accounts, except for the person we left in charge… Which is you, Nigel Uno… Now, tell us why you have summoned us…” Numba 1 gave a small sigh and said, “We got a strange email from someone claiming to be The Dark Sage…” Manuel said, “The Dark Sage is here?!” David said, “This guy doesn’t give up, does he…” Numba 1 said, “Who is this Dark Sage??” Manuel said, “An evil that’s more powerful that the one I defeated, a long time ago…” Numba 1 said, “Because he’s promised something that your evil could not… He’s promising the end of the KND.” Manuel and David had a long pause. Manuel said, “If The Dark Sage is here and he has issued that promise, he can make it happen…” Numba 1 said, “You two can’t stop him??” David said, “We plan on stopping him, Nigel. Don’t worry. We will do what any KND operative can do.” Numba 1 said, “Just how powerful is The Dark Sage??” Manuel said, “A level of evil that shouldn’t exist, Nigel… An evil that can almost match my power…” Numba 1 said, “Impossible… I mean, with your age and all… You’d be more powerful, right??” Manuel said, “Soo, you know that we used the Re-Commissioning Device…” Numba 1 said, “Well, you two have been gone for many years… It’s only fate that we grow up…” David said, “It sounds like you have grown up too…” Numba 1 said, “Well, this year is my last year… I’m turning 14… And according to the rules, no operative shall exceed the age of 13. Soo, I’m at the end of my game…” Manuel said, “Then, let’s make it last.” David said, “We have to organize the best…” Numba 1 said, “Already done. Whenever you’re ready to start it, we are standing by.” Manuel said, “Then, let’s do it now… Let’s go to the mission control room… I’m assuming everyone is there??” Numba 1 said, “Yeah, they are. Let’s go…” Numba 1 led them out of the room and through the party. They walked back upstairs and into the President’s Office. Manuel took a small pause and said, “I remember this room… David, you remember right??” David said, “Yep. We sat in those chairs… And we sat in those chairs for the longest of times…” Numba 1 said, “And those years were the greatest we could ever ask for…” They continued their way into the mission control room, where many of the other highly trained operatives were. All the KND operatives were surprised to see that the Founders have returned. One of the operatives said, “Has the situation gotten worse to a point to bring the Founders out of retirement??” Manuel said, “You’re facing an evil that can match my own power. All of you must be mindful of your actions.” David said, “What exactly is current situation??” Numba 1 and the operatives brought Manuel and David up to speed about the current situation and discussed many opportunities. After finalizing their plan, they decided to not wait and to take action. Manuel said, “We will go to where The Dark Sage is…” Suddenly, commotion was coming from the main hall of the President’s Tree-House. Everyone exited the mission control room and ran out to the main hall. Once they arrived, they saw The Dark Sage attacking all the KND operatives. However, as The Dark Sage fought against the KND operatives, he was destroying them. Manuel said, “This is intolerable… How can a Sage kill an innocent person, a child of all things…” David said, “I’ve seen enough. Let’s end this.” The KND officers and the Founders jumped down and were ready to engage The Dark Sage. The Dark Sage said, “Manuel, you decided to convert back to your kid-like ways… This will make my victory more the fulfilling.” The Dark Sage prepared his swords, while the KND officers and the Founders prepared their weapons. Manuel said, “Nigel… If we don’t win this battle… It was great serving in the KND with you…” Numba 1 said, “I’m also doing this for my old team… May their souls rest in peace since that horrible accident…” The KND officers and Manuel and David clashed with The Dark Sage, in hopes to keep the KND alive.

The KND officers kept The Dark Sage at bay, but one by one they were being destroyed. After being thrown off and landing against a wall and falling to the ground, Manuel got up and said, “This battle isn’t going well… We have to do something…” Suddenly, David was hit and he was launched into Manuel, sending them through the wall that Manuel crashed into first. Manuel threw David off him and said, “David, I don’t know if we can win…” David looked at Manuel and said, “I know… Should we run??” Manuel said, “I’m not running.” David said, “Then, I’m staying.” Manuel and David got back up and went back into the fight. Manuel jumped in and caught The Dark Sage off guard and David bashed him with his own body, which sent The Dark Sage flying through a wall. Since they earned themselves a small break, Manuel felt very fatigued and fell to the ground, on his hands and knees, but managed to say, “Nigel… I don’t think we can win…” Numba 1 said, “I know… I don’t think we can, either… This is probably the end of the KND… But, I’m not giving up.” Suddenly, Numba 1felt a sharp pain in his chest and saw that a sword was sticking through. Manuel looked up at Nigel and said, “No!!” Numba 1 was lifted into the air and thrown out of the way. The Dark Sage said, “Now, only two left…” Manuel got back up and had a small smile. David said, “There’s dozens of KND Tree-Houses, located all over this world. There’s no way you can defeat us all.” The Dark Sage said, “Why do you think I left in a hurry, back in Haven City?? My next targets were the KND. I spent all that time, eliminating all the other Tree-Houses and KND operatives, all over this world. That’s why they organized this party because; this was all that was left of your precious KND, Presidents.” Manuel and David were in silence. Manuel grasped his sword and started attacking The Dark Sage. David grasped his sword, but stood there. The Dark Sage defended himself against Manuel and at the right times, kept on slashing at Manuel, leaving cuts on his body. The Dark Sage and Manuel met at a stalemate and The Dark Sage summoned his dark power and blasted Manuel with a great deal of dark power. Manuel was sent flying through the entire Tree-House and fell all the way down to the ground, outside the Tree-House. David started attacking The Dark Sage, but couldn’t defeat him either. David was also cut up by The Dark Sage. After The Dark Sage broke David’s blade and grabbed him, The Dark Sage smiled and threw him through the wall and out of the Tree-House. The Dark Sage went to where Manuel was blasted and found him laying on the ground. The Dark Sage floated down and was standing next to Manuel. Manuel couldn’t really move, due to the blast and the landing. The Dark Sage grasped Manuel’s KND sword and thrusted it into the ground, right next to Manuel’s head. The Dark Sage said, “Here’s to the end of the KND, Manuel.” The Dark Sage summoned the Book of KND. Manuel said, “Dark Sage… Don’t destroy that…” The Dark Sage said, “And why shouldn’t I…” Manuel said, “You defeated the KND… There isn’t any of us left… That’s the only thing in existence…” The Dark Sage said, “And now, it’s gone.” The Dark Sage summoned his power again and destroyed the Book of KND into millions of burnt pieces. The Dark Sage laughed and teleported out of the world. Manuel summoned his Staff of Sages and managed to stand up. Manuel said, “David… David, where are you??” David managed to say, “On the other side of the Tree-House, dude…” Manuel walked around and saw that David was just as beaten up as he was. Manuel helped him up and said, “Let’s go home.” With the power that Manuel had left, they teleported back home to his house.

Battered and beaten, Manuel and David were in the Head-Quarters of his house. Manuel went to his computer. Manuel activated his computer at the Tree-House and executed a command that, all around the world, every KND Tree-House was destroyed. Manuel said, “Soo, we lost… And we lost badly…” David said, “We failed… I can’t believe we failed the KND…” Manuel said, “I know… I feel bad, too… But, what can we do…” David said, “Just let it go??” Manuel said, “I hate to agree, but what choice do we have…” David said, “I think I should get going, myself… I think we need to think about these events.” Manuel said, “Let’s get out of our kid-forms…” David agreed and Manuel said, “Computer, can you revert us back to our former image??” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” A light engulfed Manuel and David and within seconds, they were converted back to their original forms. Manuel said, “Okay, this feels better…” David said, “Ready to send me back??” Manuel said, “Oh yeah…” Manuel agreed and teleported David back to Haven City. Just after David left, the girls came back. Michelle saw all the cuts on Manuel. Michelle said, “What the hell happened??” Manuel said, “Let’s discuss it over dinner…” After they made their way back up to the kitchen and Manuel made dinner, Manuel told them about what happened. Manuel told them how The Dark Sage single-handedly defeated each and every KND operative and destroyed the Book of KND and defeated himself and David. Michelle said, “Wow… That’s crazy…” After everyone was done eating, they were heading to bed. Suddenly, the alarm went off. Manuel said, “Why…” The Sages ran to the Head-Quarters and Manuel activated the transmission and it was from Ryudo, Justin, Feena, Millenia, and Elena. Manuel said, “Soo, we meet again…” Michelle said quietly, “Once again… Surrounded by women.” Manuel laughed and said, “Hey, they’re not my type.” Michelle smiled. Manuel said, “What do you five want…” Justin said, “We have a problem. Someone by the name of The Dark Sage has been attacking our world.” Manuel said, “We’ll be on our way…” Manuel closed out the transmission and said, “Computer, convert back to the ship and set our course for the Town of Palm.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” The house powered down and the Sages went to the ship. Once all the Sages were back on the ship, the ship automatically took off. The Sages went to their rooms and just decided to get some sleep. After Manuel and Michelle were in comfier clothes, Manuel said, “Soo, did you girls enjoy your pampering…” Michelle said, “Yes, it was a real day of relaxation. I told them your name and they knew how to treat me… It was like they knew the right spots on me…” Manuel said, “Because, I taught them, Michelle…” Michelle smiled and put her hand on Manuel’s face, gently and kissed Manuel. Manuel and Michelle continued to kiss and they moved under the covers. Noises were able to be heard almost into the living room. Inside Kaylee’s room, Kaylee was listening to the noises and said, “Michelle’s lucky… What I wouldn’t give to have one more night with Manuel…” Inside Kim’s room, Kim heard the noises and said, “At least one of us is getting some…” Kim smiled and laughed. Inside Dani’s room, Dani heard the noise faintly and said, “I miss those days…” Though the ship was a little noisy, the ship was silently flying to their next destination.

Chapter Three - The Demonic Destruction

As the ship flew through space to its next destination, it seemed that no disturbances were coming from the rooms. That silence was broken, when Manuel came walking out from his room. Manuel walked into the kitchen and grabbed a Dr. Pepper from the fridge. Soon as he turned to his side, Kaylee was standing there. Manuel said, “Kaylee, don’t do that…” Kaylee didn’t respond, but had a fixed glare on Manuel. Manuel said, “Kaylee is something wrong??” Kaylee’s eyes were pure black. Suddenly, Kaylee transformed into The Dark Sage and withdrew her Keyblades. Without warning, The Dark Sage attacked Manuel and left him on the floor in his own blood. Still alive, Manuel managed to scream, “Sages!! The Dark Sage is here!!” Suddenly, Michelle, Kim, and Dani were rushing to Manuel’s aid. The other three Sages withdrew their weapons and started to try and battle The Dark Sage. Watching the fight and fighting to stay alive, Manuel managed to stand back on his feet. However, after Manuel got up, Manuel saw that his Sages were killed. The Dark Sage turned to Manuel and said, “Now, you’re mine!!” With a fast attack, Manuel met his demise at The Dark Sage’s attack. Left with only Kaylee’s Keyblade stuck in him, Manuel fell to the floor. Just as he hits the floor dead… Manuel wakes up from his nightmare. Realizing that he was on the floor of his room, Manuel quickly got up and grabbed his Double Keyblades. After leaving his room, Manuel busted through Kaylee’s doors and withdrew his weapons. Kaylee woke up and saw that Manuel was about to kill her. Quickly summoning her Keyblade, she defended herself and said, “Help!!” Suddenly, Michelle, Kim, and Dani appeared in the room. Once they saw that Manuel was attacking Kaylee, they summoned their weapons and tried to get Manuel to stop. Michelle managed to get between Manuel and Kaylee. Michelle quickly blocked Manuel’s attack and knocked both his Keyblades out of his hands. Without a second thought, she summoned a large ball of magic and struck Manuel, viciously. Manuel went through the wall and found himself in the living room. The Sages went to the living room with their weapons and stood over Manuel, ever ready to attack in necessary. Suddenly, Manuel said, “What happened…” Kaylee said, “You almost killed me!!” Kaylee almost went to attack Manuel, until Michelle blocked it and said, “Don’t Kaylee…” Manuel said, “I don’t remember, Kaylee… All I can remember was having a terrible dream and waking up on the floor. Then, my mind went black.” Michelle said, “What was the terrible dream about…” Manuel said, “I woke up and went to get something to drink. After getting a drink, Kaylee…” Manuel looked at Kaylee and said, “You were staring at me with pure black eyes… You didn’t respond to anything I said. Then, you transformed into The Dark Sage and brutally attacked me. I called for the other Sages. They engaged The Dark Sage, but were killed as well. The Dark Sage turned to me, after I got back up to my feet, and said, ‘Now, you’re mine!!’ and thrusted your Keyblade through me. Once I fell to the floor, I woke up on the floor. I automatically went into a black state of mind and went to attack you.” Manuel got back up to his feet. Michelle said, “You thought that Kaylee was The Dark Sage…” Manuel said, “Yes, and I should’ve known that it was a mistake. I am truly sorry for trying to kill you, Kaylee. Spend some time here, and we will go on our next mission. You’re probably very shaken up from all this.” Kaylee said, “I’m going with you. No matter what happens…” Manuel said, “Kaylee, do know that I am sorry for attacking you… This has never happened before…” Kaylee said, “Don’t worry about it. Let’s just get ready for our next adventure.” Manuel said, “Couldn’t agree more.” Manuel and Kaylee hugged and Kaylee went back to her room. Manuel said, “I don’t know if she’s being nice for now or if she’s really scared to not say anything…” Michelle said, “I’m sure she will let us know… However, in the mean time, we do have to get ready for our adventure…” The Sages disbursed and went back to their rooms. Once Manuel and Michelle were in their room, Manuel said, “It was you that struck me, wasn’t it…” Michelle said, “I did what I had to, Manuel…” Manuel smiled and said, “It’s okay, Michelle. No harm done.” As all the Sages were getting ready, the ship finally arrived at its set-course. The Computer Voice said, “Manuel, we have arrived at our destination. The Teleportation Room is ready.” Manuel said, “Excellent timing. Sages, we leave.” The Sages walked into the Teleportation Room and with a blinding flash of light, they were gone from the ship.

The Sages found themselves in a town called Parm. That was the only thing standing, for the town was in utter ruin. Manuel said, “I think we missed the party…” Michelle said, “Who could’ve been able to destroy the town??” The Sages started walking through the town and saw that all the towns people were killed, with precise hits. Manuel examined one body and said, “This wasn’t an attack. This was a massacre. The Dark Sage is leaving his calling card. He knows we’re here…” The Sages made their way to a big fountain, in the center of the town. Manuel said, “Follow me…” Manuel started walking to a building that had a sign on it. The other Sages followed him. Manuel stopped in front of the building and said, “This was called, ‘Lily’s Seagull Restaurant.’ This was Justin’s home, before he became an adventurer.” The Sages went inside and saw that it was desolated. Manuel said, “Split up and let’s find anything… I feel like something was hidden here.” The Sages split up and started to look through everything. Manuel and Michelle went upstairs to search for clues too. Michelle said, “I’ll look here and in that room, you check the upstairs??” Manuel said, “As you wish, Michelle.” Manuel gave her a kiss and headed upstairs. After Manuel got upstairs, he noticed that he was in Justin’s old room. Manuel said, “This room looks too clean for a desolate attack…” Manuel started going through everything, until he found a note. Manuel walked downstairs and said, “My Sages!! In the Dining Room!!” The Sages came running to meet up with Manuel. Manuel said, “I found a note.” The Sages gathered around Manuel, as he un-folded the note. After un-folding the note, the Sages saw that it was written in a weird language. Manuel said, “This isn’t good.” Michelle said, “What is it??” Manuel said, “This is written in the Old Sage Language…” Manuel cleared his throat and read the note:

“Dear Sages, by now, you realize that the town is in total ruin. I do hope that you don’t mind I left the bodies lying around… I didn’t have time to clean up, because I had to go after your former friends. Let’s hope you get to them, before I will. Well, let’s just say that I have four left to hunt. Until I find them… Signed by: The Dark Sage.”

Manuel said, “What does he mean by four??” Suddenly, Manuel went running down the stairs, with his Sages following closely behind. Manuel ran into the kitchen, standing in front of the oven. Manuel gave a big sigh and opened the oven door. A whole bunch of smoke came flowing out and the Sages moved. After the smoke cleared, the Sages went back to the oven and saw something inside. Manuel touched the rack to see if it was hot or not. After pulling out the rack, Manuel said, “This is truly inhumane. How can he do this to someone…” Manuel started walking towards the front door to leave. The other Sages looked at the rack and saw that there was a disembodied person there. Michelle said, “Who is that?!” Just before Manuel left the restaurant, Manuel said, “That’s whatever is left of Justin, one of the five The Dark Sage is looking for.” The other Sages caught up with Manuel, leaving the restaurant. Once everyone was outside, Manuel said, “Our next move is to go there.” Manuel pointed at a tall church building, way off in the distance. Michelle said, “That’s a long way.” Manuel said, “Well, it’s a good thing we are Sages, isn’t it…” The Sages gathered around each other and they teleported together to the church that was off in the distance.

Once the Sages appeared in front of the gigantic church, Manuel said, “Welcome to the Church of Granas, the God of Light. Or, he used to be, until he converted to darkness and joined his brother’s side to destroy everything and everyone. He just made the mistake of facing me and the other team. Now, they are being hunted… I just hope they stay alive long enough to find them…” The Sages ran up the stairs to the entrance of the church. Once they got to the entrance of the church, they saw that the doors were blasted off. Michelle said, “You don’t think…” Manuel said, “I hope not…” The Sages withdrew their weapons and carefully walked inside the church. Once they were inside, they saw many dead bodies of villagers, priests, priestesses, ministers, and even his holiness. Manuel said, “Okay my Sages… This is a big church. We split up again and search this entire place for Ryudo and the others.” The Sages agreed and went their separate ways. Manuel continued to go through the first level of the church. As Manuel passed by each and every body, Manuel said, “I can’t believe The Dark Sage would do such a thing… To destroy innocent people like this, is way out of the character of a Sage.” Suddenly, a scream came from the upper level of the church. Manuel quickly teleported to the upper level. Once Manuel re-appeared, Kim ran straight into him, knocking both of them down to the ground. Kim said, “I’m soo sorry , Manuel…” Manuel said, “It’s okay. What happened??” Michelle said, “And, why is she on top??” Kim turned to look and saw that Michelle, Kaylee, and Dani were there too. Kim quickly got up and said, “You should go look in there.” Manuel got up and said, “After me, Sages.” Manuel and Michelle walked in the room first. Michelle quietly said, “You gonna explain??” Manuel said, “I teleported to this level and she ran right into me.” Michelle said, “She must’ve really jumped…” Still standing outside, Kaylee quietly said, “Soo, how did it feel to be on top of him??” Kim quietly said, “It felt like heaven…” Dani said, “You’re soo lucky, right now…” Manuel said, “I can hear you, now get in here.” The other Sages went inside the room. Manuel said, “You found this??” Kim said, “Once I opened the door, it fell.” Suddenly, Kaylee said, “What is he holding??” The other Sages looked and saw that the body was holding a note in his hand. Manuel grabbed the note and opened it. The Sages gathered around Manuel. They noticed it was, once again, written in the Old Sage Language. Manuel read:

“Kim, since I’m sure you found this body and Manuel’s reading the note because the body scared you… Hehe, let me laugh first… Anyways, you Sages won’t find the bodies here. You can find them underneath the church. Go back to the main level and find the office. Once there, move the big chair and you should find the whole I left. Don’t worry, Manuel knows what office I mean. Until then, Sages… Signed by: The Dark Sage.”

Manuel wasted no time teleporting everyone to the office. Once they all appeared in the office, they saw the big chair. Manuel held out his hand and blasted the chair with his magic. Michelle said, “Not even gonna move it. The situation is getting worse.” Manuel said, “Yes, yes it is, Michelle. Sages, after me.” Manuel didn’t even want to walk. Once Manuel started running through the whole in the wall, the other Sages followed behind. After running for 3-5 minutes, they found a room where three other bodies were lying on the floor. Once Manuel saw who they were, he dropped his Keyblades to the floor. Manuel walked to the bodies, but the Sages stayed where they were. Michelle quietly said, “I’ve never seen him this upset, especially to where he drops his Keyblades.” Manuel examined Ryudo’s body, which had his brother’s sword imbedded in his head. Manuel said, “They never stood a fighting chance…” Manuel saw that Elena had the Granasaber imbedded in her head, as well. The other Sages walked to Manuel. Manuel said, “None of them ever had a chance… But, why kill them instantly??” Michelle looked at the third body and said, “She doesn’t have anything imbedded in her…” Manuel looked and knew that it was Millenia. Manuel said, “She already had something imbedded in her. That’s what gave her the power.” Manuel went to Millenia’s body and flipped it over. The other Sages saw that she had two identical slices on her shoulder blades. Manuel said, “She was known as the Wings of Valmar. The Fallen Wings were her source of life and power. By cutting them and destroying them, she would be dead.” Kaylee said, “It seems that The Dark Sage is destroying these certain people by their own personality.” Manuel said, “I know… I just wonder what he’s going to do to Feena… She’s the last one.” Manuel was walking back, when he spotted another note on Ryudo. Manuel quickly picked it up and opened it. The other Sages gathered around Manuel to see what it said. Once again, the note was written in the Old Sage Language. Manuel read:

“By now, you must realize I only have one more to go. Well, actually I have two more… Have you forgotten about the other one?? Shame on you, Manuel. Anyways, you will see what I mean. I’m somewhere, vastly hidden. However, I will be sending you part one of my gift. Once you get outside, my gift should be waiting for you. She will give you further instructions. Until we meet again… Signed by: The Dark Sage.”

Manuel said, “Let’s get out of here.” The Sages hurried outside and saw that The Dark Sage did leave them a present. The Dark Sage left Feena on the steps, battered and beaten. The Sages went to her aid to try and see if they can bring her back. They managed to save her and Feena re-awakened. Feena said, “Manuel… Is that you??” Manuel said, “Yes, but The Dark Sage said you have instructions for us. I need those instructions soo we can destroy him.” Feena got back to her feet and said, “Let’s gather hands together.” Once everyone gathered hands together in a circle, they were suddenly teleported. Once they re-appeared, they looked around. Manuel turned around and saw The Dark Sage standing near him. Manuel said, “Okay, you have us now… Let’s fight.” The Dark Sage said, “Good Feena… You may go now.” The Dark Sage held out his hand and Feena just dropped to the floor. Manuel said, “What did you do?!” The Dark Sage said, “I already killed her, but I used her as a puppet to get you here. And now, you are here.” Manuel said, “I’m going to kill you for all the deaths you caused here.” The Dark Sage said, “I wish I could stay around, but I have another grave matter to attend to. However, I will leave you with this present… The sixth and final member of the team. Sue.” Manuel was quiet. Michelle said, “Who’s Sue, Manuel??” Manuel said, “I’ve forgotten about Sue. She was Justin’s childhood friend, until she was told to go home and never do adventures again. Eventually, she caught back up with Justin and they completed their adventure. After Feena and Justin were married and back from their honeymoon, Sue walked back into his life. How did you find her?!” The Dark Sage said, “I didn’t. She found me. She wanted revenge for Feena taking Justin from her. Soo, I answered her prayer and look what has happened.” Manuel said, “You will pay. I will destroy you.” The Dark Sage laughed and said, “Until then, you have another to fight against someone who just got caught up in the wrong place, at the wrong time. Sue… Come out here and greet the people that caused all the chaos and destroyed Justin, right before your eyes.” Sue came walking out from a near-by cave. Manuel looked and saw that she wasn’t in any good health condition. Though she was always skinny and perky, the years of hatred and depression really took a toll on her. Her hair was nappy and her clothes were stained with blood and ripped at many places. Sue said, “Why did you destroy him?! All I prayed for was that he realizes that I loved him and wanted to be with him.” The Dark Sage said, “Here, my dear. You may use this.” The Dark Sage handed her the Demonic Sword. Then, The Dark Sage disappeared. Manuel said, “Sages, with the Demonic Sword in her hands and in her state of mind, she can really do some powerful damage. Stay on your guard and attack when possible.” The Sages withdrew their weapons. Sue grasped the sword and ran towards them, aiming to hit Manuel. Once Manuel blocked her attack, the battle was begun.

Manuel and Sue were holding each other at bay, until Manuel managed to throw her off. However, once Sue was thrown off, she counter-acted and jumped at Manuel. Not giving Manuel enough time to re-act, Sue managed to give Manuel a good cut across his chest. Manuel had to fall back and said, “Get her!! Show no mercy, Sages!!” The other Sages attacked Sue viciously and managed to get her down to her knees and away from the Demonic Sword. Still with the cut wound on his chest, Manuel walked back to his Sages. Michelle grabbed the Demonic Sword and gave it to Manuel. Manuel took hold of the Demonic Sword and said, “Sue, how can you sink soo low to such levels…” Sue said, “All I wanted was Justin to realize that I love him more than Feena did. I knew him better than she did, but he chose her over me.” Manuel said, “Well, you will never get that chance, because Justin’s dead. He was killed and stuff in his mom’s oven, back in Parm. I don’t know if I should let you live and suffer your loss of Justin or kill you and let you see him…” Michelle looked at Manuel and said, “Since when did you slowly become The Dark Sage?!” Manuel looked at Michelle and said, “I don’t know… Why am I acting like this…” Sue said, “If you won’t choose, I will.” Sue grabbed the Demonic Sword from Manuel and ran from the Sages. The Sages ran after Sue to regain the Demonic Sword, before she has a chance to use it on herself. Once Sue and the Sages ran enough, Sue turned around and held the Demonic Sword to her chest. The Sages stopped and prepared their weapons. Manuel said, “Sue, don’t do this… Does Justin mean that much to you??” Sue said, “You don’t know how much I love him… You haven’t experienced everything I have with him… All the adventures and the fights we’ve had against all those monsters and finding the Icarians together… It was heart-shattering when I found out that Justin and Feena were together. Well, now I can right that wrong and make it to where it’s me and Justin…” Manuel said, “Sue, I was there. I saw all the connections between you and Justin. However, killing yourself will not bring you two together. You have to realize that Justin and Feena are dead. Right now, they’re probably together in heaven, watching you make this scene of yourself.” Sue said, “I don’t care. I want to be with Justin and I will do anything and everything to make that come true.” Manuel said, “Killing yourself will not make that come true, Sue.” Sue said, “I don’t care. I will be with him. Even if I have to destroy Feena in the afterlife to accomplish it.” Sue thrusted the Demonic Sword through her chest, directly in her heart. Manuel went to catch Sue, before she fell. However, as soon as she stabbed herself, Sue disappeared. The Demonic Sword fell to the floor. Manuel grabbed the Demonic Sword from the ground and said, “Sages, let’s go. There’s nothing else for us to do now…” Michelle said, “Why would she do this…” Manuel activated his watch and said, “Computer, activate the teleportation room. Teleport us back to the ship.” On the watch, the Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” Manuel said, “Love is a powerful feeling, Michelle. When one becomes obsessed with love, it can destroy you.” Suddenly, the Sages disappeared from the world.

Once back on the ship, the Sages disbursed and went to their rooms. Manuel went to the Computer Room to see if there were any new transmissions for the Sages. Manuel turned on the computer and saw that there was one message. Manuel activated the message and saw that Mario and Luigi were on the screen. Manuel started the message and Mario said, “Manuel, this is Mario. We have a dire situation. Peach has aligned herself with Bowser. We need your help.” Luigi said, “We don’t know how long we can…” Suddenly, the background wall exploded and the transmission was cut off. Manuel said, “Computer, set our course for the Mushroom Kingdom.” The Computer Voice said, “Already done. Our ETA is 14 hours and 18 minutes.” Manuel said, “Nicely done, Computer. Alert us when it’s about 2 hours prior.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” Manuel said, “Why is this happening again…” Michelle said, “Again??” Manuel said, “Well, last time me and Valmar went there, Mario and Luigi were on the run from Peach and Bowser. We followed Peach and Bowser to underneath the Mushroom Castle and we saw Peach using a gigantic machine that basically paused all time on that planet and erased all the memories. I just hope it doesn’t happen again, because if it does happen again, Peach is really trying to hide a secret that she wants no one to know about.” Michelle said, “Well, let’s rest and patch up that wound.” Manuel looked at this chest and said, “Oh yeah… I’m sure I’ll be fine. Let’s just let it be.” Michelle laughed a bit and said, “You and your wounds. You can never accept stitches.” Manuel laughed and said, “It’s a Missionary thing. Let’s get some sleep.” Manuel and Michelle walked into the room and they quickly fell asleep, as the ship flew to its next destination.

Chapter Four - The Secret Continues

Flying through space, swiftly and silently, the Sages were fast asleep in their rooms. Though no one was awake, noises and sounds were coming from the living room. Suddenly, one of the bedroom doors opened and the noises stopped. Kim was walking into the living room to see if there were any noises. After waiting for a little bit, Kim walked back into her room and shut the door. Back in the living room, the Bluish Figure re-appeared on the couch. The Bluish Figure said, “That was a close one.” After stretching out on the couch, the Bluish Figure said, “I miss the other ship. However, I was commanded to take command of that ship and save it for the next generation… I wonder if it will really come down to…” Suddenly, the Bluish Figure turned her head and saw that Manuel was standing near the couch. The Bluish Figure said, “I’m in trouble, right…” Manuel said, “I don’t know how you even found us or the reason why you came back…” Manuel sat down on the couch, next to the Bluish Figure, and continued, “But, I am glad you’re here… I need some advice on how to deal with this… This…” The Bluish Figure said, “The Dark Sage, am I right??” Manuel nodded his head. The Bluish Figure said, “I have seen your battles with him, thus far. However, you will not like who…” Suddenly, the Bluish Figure disappeared. Manuel was wondering why she disappeared, but suddenly heard a voice in his head. The Voice said, “I can’t tell you, but I will see you soon… Keep your eyes open.” Still wondering what just happened, Manuel made his way back to his room. Once Manuel walked into his room, he saw that Michelle was awake and getting up. Manuel said, “Ready to wake up…” Michelle shook her head no and Manuel laughed a bit and said, “Me neither. Let’s hop into the shower??” Michelle nodded her head and walked into the bathroom. Manuel followed behind and closed the door. Finally waking up and coming out of their rooms, the other Sages made their way out to the living room. They all sat down on the couch and Kaylee said, “Who slept well??” Kim said, “I did actually sleep well.” Dani said, “I’m still trying to over the scars and cuts that Manuel had…” Kaylee said, “Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that…” Suddenly, Michelle said, “Well, I have a different story for all of you…” The other Sages turned and saw that Michelle was standing behind them. Kaylee said, “Where’s Manuel??” Michelle said, “Still getting ready. However, listen… I had a weird dream last night… And it concerned about all of us…” Just when Michelle was ready to tell her nightmare to them, the alarm went off. Manuel came walking and said, “Let’s go, Sages.” The other Sages hurried back into their rooms and grabbed their weapons and gear. They met back up with Manuel in the Teleportation Room. Manuel said, “Okay Computer. Teleport us to Mario and Luigi’s current location.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel. Teleporting to location: Outskirts of Mushroom City.” With a bright light, the Sages were gone. Though the Sages were gone and the ship was empty, the Bluish Figure re-appeared back on the ship. However, after she re-appeared, Manuel’s other-side, Valmar, also appeared. Valmar said, “Don’t ever reveal the truth, you understand??” The Bluish Figure said, “Manuel has a right to know, Valmar. Though we are part of the original Seven Sages, before the battle… I can’t just leave Manuel oblivious to what’s going on…” Valmar said, “I know when Manuel finds out who The Dark Sage is, he will not believe it. However, once he knows who it is, then you can talk to him.” The Bluish Figure said, “Listen Valmar… I love Manuel. And another thing, you still wear The Dark Sage’s robes… Explain that.” Valmar said, “I know you still love him. And I like these robes. They can adjust to my power level and is brilliantly created. And Shadow really likes it. However, you listen well… I want you to go to The Temple of the Sages. It’s the only temporary place for the Seven Sages that can be available. Manuel will be sent there and when he is, I want you to tell him what you wanted to. I’m sure he will already know, but I want you to be there to help him…” The Bluish Figure said, “How much can I help him??” Valmar said, “I don’t care how… You can preserve his body and soul. I don’t care. Just keep him alive, okay??” Valmar grabbed the Bluish Figure’s arm and teleported them both out of the ship.

The Sages appeared outside the home of Mario and Luigi. Manuel said, “Hmm, I’m gonna assume that they are inside their house…” The Sages walked inside the house. Manuel said, “Why is it that every time we go somewhere, it’s always left in ruin…” Mario and Luigi’s house was totally decimated and destroyed. Manuel said, “This house is small soo, looking through everything should be easy. Let’s try and find anything we can.” The Sages split up and started looking through the mess of their house. Manuel found his way into Mario and Luigi’s bedroom. After Manuel managed to move their demolished bunk-bed, he saw a lever. Manuel pulled the lever down and a hole opened near him. Manuel yelled, “My Sages!! Come to their room!!” The other Sages came running into the room. Kaylee said, “Are we finally going to experiment together?!” The other Sages looked at her. Kaylee said, “What?? It was my dream, last night…” Manuel said, “That’s not up to me. That’s up to Michelle to share me…” Michelle looked at Manuel and said, “I will think about it.” The other Sages looked at her with a very confused look. Michelle looked around and said, “What?? Kaylee isn’t the only one that dreams about it…” Dani said, “I hope you seriously consider it…” Michelle said, “Anyways… A hidden place, is there…” Manuel said, “After you Sages, or after me??” Michelle nodded her head and jumped down the hole. The other Sages followed along. After all the other Sages jumped in, Manuel jumped down and landed behind his Sages. Manuel was looking around and saw that Mario and Luigi were working on something really big. Manuel walked up to one of the computers and saw that a red light was blinking. Manuel pushed the button and the computer screen activated. Suddenly, Manuel saw that it was a video feed into Mario and Luigi’s secret base. On the screen, Mario saw that Manuel was on the computer screen and said, “I wasn’t sure if you would be able to find anything in that mess Princess Peach created… I’m happy that you Sages haven’t gotten caught.” Manuel said, “What exactly is going on, this time??” Mario said, “Princess Peach and Bowser have been working on something together. Though we have no actual proof, we believe that they are conspiring on something together.” Manuel said, “What conspiracy are you trying to prove??” Mario said, “Something from the past between Princess Peach and Bowser… We believe that they have a secret together…” Suddenly, Manuel heard a small noise and quickly turned his head towards the hole. The other Sages gathered to where Manuel was standing. Suddenly, Toads started to fall down and open fire. Manuel turned to the computer screen and said, “You better find out the secret before time runs out, Mario.” Manuel hit the computer screen with his Staff of Sages and held out his hand towards the Toads. Within seconds, a shield separated the Sages from the Toads. After the Toads realized it, they stopped shooting. Suddenly, Princess Daisy came landing down from the entrance. Princess Daisy said, “I didn’t think that the Sages would be helping Mario and Luigi…” Manuel said, “What exactly is going on, Daisy?? Why has Peach and Bowser re-grouped and hunting Mario and Luigi again?!” Daisy said, “What do you mean again??” Manuel said, “We aren’t here to help anyone. We are here to stop Princess Peach from whatever she has planned for Mario and Luigi. And we will not be stopped by anyone.” With a bright flash of light, the Sages were gone. Princess Daisy went to the computer and sent a transmission to Princess Peach. Once she was on screen, Daisy said, “We have a dire situation here, cousin. The Sages are helping Mario and Luigi.” Princess Peach said, “If the Sages are here, we will never win. Come back to the Castle. We will have to activate the machine again…” Daisy said, “You haven’t even told me why we are hunting them, last time… What is soo damn important that you will keep erasing people’s memories?!” Peach said, “Once again, I’ll tell you when you’re dead.” Peach ended the transmission. Daisy said, “She better get her damn act together, because this secrecy is starting to really piss me off.” Daisy turned around and said, “Let’s head back to the castle.” The Toads saluted and jumped back up through the entrance. Daisy followed her Toads back up and they made their way back to the castle.

The Sages re-appeared in the Dry Dry Post. Manuel said, “I was thinking that they were at their house…” Manuel activated his watch and said, “Computer, I thought Mario and Luigi’s location was at their house.” The Computer Voice said, “My scanners indicated that Mario and Luigi are located at their house.” Manuel said, “Well, they weren’t there.” Suddenly, Michelle said, “Manuel, look!!” Manuel looked towards the horizon and saw that there was a blue light covering the sky. Manuel said, “Oh no… She activated the Memory Machine again.” Manuel said into his watch, “Computer, teleport us all back into the ship, now please!!” The Computer Voice said, “Teleporting now.” With a bright flash, the Sages were gone from the Mushroom Kingdom. The Sages re-appeared in the Teleportation Room of the ship. The Sages ran to the window and saw that the blue light was engulfing the entire planet. Manuel said, “I’m starting to wonder why Peach is doing this. What secret can she be hiding??” The Sages were really quiet. Suddenly, a dark voice from behind them said, “Look who we have here…” Manuel knew that voice and slowly turned around. Manuel saw that it was The Dark Sage and said, “Sages, prepare your weapons!!” The Sages withdrew their weapons and The Dark Sage said, “Oh please, Sages… I’m not actually here to attack any of you. I’m actually here to tell you something.” Manuel said, “I dare not believe your words.” The Dark Sage said, “I never asked if you did. But hey, if you don’t want to listen then, you shall learn the hard way.” The Dark Sage suddenly disappeared. Manuel said, “I don’t think he was going to tell us anything useful.” Michelle said, “I don’t know, Manuel… I think he would’ve told us something… He didn’t even withdraw his swords.” Kaylee said, “Are you agreeing with The Dark Sage??” Michelle said, “No, I dare not agree with such an evil person. I’m just simply saying that he may have had something to say that possibly could’ve been useful…” Manuel said, “I have never questioned you before Michelle… And I don’t have reason to start now…” Suddenly, The Dark Sage re-appeared and said, “For once, Manuel does listen.” Manuel said, “Just tell us what you came here to tell us.” The Dark Sage said, “Your next adventure will be taking you all to the Universe of Kingdom Hearts. However, even I’m not allowed to be shown there. There’s an evil force that still lingers from the past. Manuel should know what I’m talking about. That’s what I was going to tell you. Now, I will be waiting for all of you at the Realm of Hyrule, where the Destruction of the Sages begins.” The Dark Sage disappeared before any of the Sages could mutter a word. Michelle said, “Maybe you were right, Manuel. He didn’t tell us anything useful.” Kim said, “What about that part where he will be waiting at the Realm of Hyrule, where he said that’s where the Destruction of the Sages begins??” Michelle said, “He’s made these accusations before… And yet, he hasn’t been able to defeat any of us.” Manuel said, “And I’m starting to wonder if that dream I had is even coming true… Because, in my dream, I find out that my Sages have been working with The Dark Sage. I don’t think any of you could even kill an innocent creature.” Before anyone could say anything, the alarm went off. The Sages walked to the Computer Room and Manuel activated the transmission. On the computer screen, King Mickey, Riku, Kairi, and Sora were on the screen. Manuel said, “What seems to be the problem, this time??” King Mickey said, “Manuel, your brother’s minions are still here. We have been able to defeat most of them, but somehow, they keep re-appearing. We can definitely use your help.” Manuel said, “King Mickey, this is impossible. I defeated my brother at the ruin of The Castle That Never Was. His Heartless should’ve ceased to exist.” Sora said, “Then, the hooded figure was right.” Manuel said, “What hooded figure??” Riku said, “He said that you call him The Dark Sage.” Michelle said, “Manuel, I thought he just told us that he wasn’t able to be there…” Manuel said, “The Dark Sage can and will lie about anything and everything he thinks he can get away with.” King Mickey said, “Soo, what do we do??” Manuel said, “Defend yourselves with everything you can. We will be there, as soon as we can.” King Mickey nodded his head and Manuel ended the transmission. Michelle said, “You were right, Manuel. I should’ve just let it go.” Manuel said, “Michi, don’t worry about it okay?? We are all still here and alive. My first initial dream started off as my Sages were being killed, one by one. Then, in the middle of the dream, it just went blank and re-started.” Michelle said, “What exactly happened??” Manuel said, “Okay, well follow me then.” Manuel walked out of the Computer Room, with the Sages following behind, and made his way into the living room and sat down. Manuel continued, “At first, in each adventure, I lost one Sage to The Dark Sage, but when we got to the Universe of Kingdom Hearts, the dream just ceased to exist and went blank. Suddenly, it came back and it restarted. However, what was weird was that it started at the Realm of Hyrule and I was told of who The Dark Sage really was. I never got to see who it was, but I can remember what expression I had. The expression was a horrid look, like a ‘I can’t believe it…’ look…” Michelle said, “That just sounds bad. You didn’t see any of us standing with you??” Manuel said, “No, I didn’t. That’s what worried me.” Michelle said, “This does sound serious.” Kaylee said, “Soo, what exactly is our next move??” Manuel said, “Well, our next adventure is to the Universe of Kingdom Hearts… According to all the information we have, The Dark Sage said that he wasn’t allowed there, due to an old evil that I’m familiar with. However, we learned that The Dark Sage was just lying to us and was there, mustering up my brother’s old Heartless.” Michelle said, “All this time, I never knew that you had a brother.” Manuel said, “I try and mention very little about him. When we tried to become Sages, I succeeded because they saw The Great Sage in me…” Suddenly, Manuel was quiet for a bit. Michelle said, “Soo, what happened to your brother??” Manuel said, “My Sages, I think I know who The Dark Sage… It has to be my brother. We fought at The World That Never Was and I defeated him. However, maybe he’s returned as The Dark Sage to try and defeat us.” Michelle said, “That sounds about right. Well, there’s no reason to lose sleep over it.” Manuel said, “You Sages can head to bed. I’m gonna stay awake.” Michelle said, “Are you sure, Manuel??” Manuel said, “I’m not all that tired yet. Don’t worry, I’ll be sitting here…” Michelle gave Manuel a kiss and said, “Okay, but don’t stay away too long… I do get those urges, remember…” Manuel smiled and said, “Oh, I remember, Michelle.” The other Sages walked to their rooms and Michelle went to her room, as well. As Manuel sat in the living room, he tried to make sense of this entire cat and mouse chase that seems to be destroying many innocent lives. Manuel summoned a notepad of paper and a pencil and started writing down everything that has happened. After filling out about half of the notepad, he re-read everything and tried to make sense of what was happening to him and his Sages. Manuel read his writings out-loud:

“The Dark Sage was defeated twice by me and Valmar… Now he’s returned and he first went to Haven City, where me and my Sages fought against a brain-washed Precursor God with evil powers. Though we managed to defeat him, I couldn’t extract the evil from him and we had to use our full-force and utterly killed him. After their city was destroyed, me and my Sages left Haven City. I received an email from the KND, stating that it was an invite to a Presidential Party. David also received the email and notified me very quickly. We met back up and went back to our homeworld. After getting back into my house, I sent my Sages to spa treatments because I wanted them to take the day off and be pampered and taken care of. Me and David reverted back to our kid-like forms and made our grand appearance at the Presidential Party. The KND operatives were utterly stunned that they were looking at the Founders of the Kids Next Door. After meeting back up with Numba 1, we went into deeper conversation with the other high operatives and learned that The Dark Sage was resurrecting the promise an old evil that I, once, defeated could not make. The Dark Sage came to the party and managed to defeat each and every last operative, straight down to me, David, and Numba 1. We witnessed Numba 1’s death and we tried to battle back. Though me and David tried to tell him that he could not defeat each and every KND operative, we learned that he already has completed that task. Me and David gave that battle everything we could. I kept on attacking, but The Dark Sage knew exactly how to deflect my every move and kept on slicing at my body. When The Dark Sage threw me off, he blasted me with a very powerful dark magic ball and I was sent flying through the President Tree-house and landed outside, all the way on the ground. David suffered the same fate and was tossed out on the other-side. The Dark Sage landed near me and he summoned the Book of KND. I tried to reason with him to just let the Book exist and give it back to me. He didn’t comply and sent the Book in flames. Luckily, I was smart and made a digital copy on my computer at home. However, that Book was the original and the last shred of existence of the KND. After me and David gathered each other and made our way back home, I self-destructed each and every KND Tree-house and make sure the KND was erased. After I sent David back home, my Sages came back and saw that I was totally beaten up. I told them what happened and we were called upon to go help Ryudo and them. We left and we slept the way there. After we arrived, we went down to the Town of Parm, which was destroyed. We found Justin, stuffed in his mother’s oven, at Lilly’s Seagull Restaurant. After we left there, we headed for the Granas Temple, where we found Ryudo, Elena, and Millenia dead. Ryudo was killed with his brother’s sword, Elena was killed by the Granasaber, and Millenia was killed by her Fallen Wings being ripped out from her body. We were worried about Feena, but she was already dead by The Dark Sage. The Dark Sage brought out Sue, Justin’s long-time friend and secret lover. I didn’t know Sue was still around. But, The Dark Sage gave her the Demonic Sword and she wildly attacked us. After we managed to get the Demonic Sword away from her, she regained control and grabbed the sword and ran. After we caught up with her, she told us that she was gonna be with Justin, one way or another and she killed herself. After we left and we were back on the ship, we got a transmission from Mario and Luigi about Peach teaming up with Bowser. After we get there and tried to get information on that situation, Peach sent Daisy to the Mario Brothers’ house and she told us that she doesn’t even know why Peach and hunting them. After we got out of there, Peach activated the Memory Machine again and we were forced to teleport back to the ship. And now here we are…”

Manuel was yawning and he finally put down the notepad and pencil and went into his room, where Michelle was asleep. Manuel got into comfier clothes and he laid down. After he laid down, Michelle turned on her side and said, “You finally laying down??” Manuel said, “Yep. Time to sleep for a little while…” Michelle said, “It’s time for that urge I was telling you…” Manuel smiled and said, “I’m always awake for that.” Manuel and Michelle started to make out and they pulled the blanket over them. Though small noises were coming from Manuel and Michelle’s room, the ship was silently flying through space to their next destination, which is the Universe of Kingdom Hearts.

Chapter Five - The Keyblades of Destruction

As the ship silently crept through space towards the Universe of Kingdom Hearts, all the Sages were fast asleep. Dani was safely tucked in her blankets, Kim kept moving around in her sleep, Kaylee was stretched out on the bed, and Manuel and Michelle were gently laying on their sides, with each other in their arms. Though the silence and serenity was really romantic and lovely, the alarm went off. The Sages heard the alarm and started to stir. Manuel said, “Computer, de-activate the alarm.” The alarm shut off and the Computer Voice said, “Done. Our ETA is currently within 3 hours.” Manuel said, “Let us sleep a little longer…” The Computer Voice said, “Should I make the alarm for 1 hour before ETA??” Manuel said, “Just wake us up in two hours. Make the clock alarms in the rooms go off, instead of the ship’s alarm. The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” Manuel said a little louder, “Go back to sleep, Sages.” Manuel laid his head back down on his pillow and Michelle said, “Soo, we have to get up in 2 hours??” Manuel said, “Yep, but until then, sleep is dominant.” Manuel kissed Michelle and they went back to sleep. However, the lights in the ship started to flicker. Manuel re-opened his eyes and saw the lights flickering. Manuel softly said, “We’re not alone…” Manuel sent a telepathic message to all the other Sages:

“My Sages, this is The Great Sage, Manuel. Do not be alarmed, but our ship’s lights are flickering. This is not done by a power failure… This is done by Heartless, preferably my brother’s Heartless. Quickly and very silently summon your weapons and once you are ready, battle your way to the living room. Do not under-estimate my brother’s Heartless. They are more powerful than the original Heartless enemies. You have your orders and you better carry them out without failure. Go.”

Manuel and Michelle quickly and very silently summoned their Keyblades and without warning, jumped at the group of Heartless, snooping around in their room. The Heartless didn’t have any time to re-act and they were killed instantly. Manuel and Michelle were able to hear all the noise from all the other rooms. They cleared out the living room and the other Sages met up with them. Manuel said, “Is everyone here??” Kim said, “Right here.” Kaylee said, “Yes.” Dani said, “I’m set.” Michelle said, “Let’s end this.” Suddenly, more Heartless started to appear and made a front line, in front of the Sages. Just before the Sages were about to attack, one of the Heartless spoke, “STOP!!” The Sages stopped in their tracks and Manuel said, “Did I just hear a Heartless speak??” A regular Heartless came walking up and said, “Don’t attack us. We are here on your brother’s behalf.” Manuel said, “Why would my brother be sending Heartless to my ship, other than the reason of attacking??” The Heartless said, “Because, we were instructed to find any and all last remaining Heartless and try and find you. We were told to stick with you, because you will need us in the fight against The Dark Sage.” Manuel said, “The Dark Sage is my brother, your master.” The Heartless said, “No, The Dark Sage is not your brother. The reason why we are soo little, is because of The Dark Sage. He attacked all of us and tried to finish off as many as he could. He greatly lowered our numbers, but we managed to all band together and open a portal that could lead to you. And here we are…” Manuel said, “You could’ve done it in a better fashion.” The Heartless said, “I know, but it was the only way to get your attention. It seemed to work a little too well. However, The Dark Sage is at Radiant Garden, where you first fought your brother. He is waiting there, wielding Sephiroth’s Sword.” Manuel said, “Sephiroth is dead?!” The Heartless said, “He didn’t even stand a fighting chance against The Dark Sage. We are ready to fight alongside our master’s brother.” Manuel sighed and said, “Okay, meet us in the Radiant Garden Town. We will be there, shortly.” The Heartless said, “We will be there, waiting.” The Heartless and all the other Heartless creatures disappeared from the ship. Manuel said, “Hmm, something isn’t right here…” Kim said, “You can sense it too, can’t you…” Michelle said, “Soo can I…” Manuel said, “We should get more ready and woken up. Meet in the Teleportation Room, once you are ready.” The Sages disbursed and walked back into their rooms. As the Sages spent their time getting ready, the ship was slowing down to a halt. The Computer Voice said, “We have arrived in the Universe of Kingdom Hearts earlier than expected.” Manuel said, “The sooner we can destroy The Dark Sage, the sooner we can go back home…” The Computer Voice said, “Where should I teleport you Sages??” Manuel said, “Let us get to the Teleportation Room, first…” The Sages finally exited their rooms and walked into the Teleportation Room. Once all the Sages were in the room, Manuel said, “Okay, now teleport us to the Radiant Garden Town. My brother’s Heartless should be waiting around there.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel. Teleporting you Sages to destination: Radiant Garden Town.” With the bright flash of light, the Sages were gone. However, though the Sages weren’t on the ship, another appeared in the ship. The Dark Sage appeared in the ship. His cloak kept his face hidden all the time. The Dark Sage said, “It’s almost time for Manuel to know who I am… I just hope he can forgive me for turning to this power…” The Dark Sage gave a big sigh and said, “Well, since I’m here, I might as well have a little fun…” The Dark Sage started to blast everything that was in the living room into pieces. The Dark Sage said, “This may take a little while… I’m sure I will have time to do what needs to be done.” The Dark Sage went through the entire ship, destroying everything.

Appearing in the Town of Radiant Garden, the Sages looked around for Manuel’s brother’s Heartless. Once they found them, Manuel said, “Follow me.” The Sages walked down the stairs and met up with the Heartless. Manuel said, “What happened to the townspeople??” One of the Heartless said, “The Dark Sage. We ready to go to the end of Radiant Garden.” Manuel nodded his head and said, “After me.” Manuel started to jog their way through the town, with his Sages and his brother’s Heartless following him behind. Many of the houses were destroyed and bodies almost littered the streets. Once they got to the end of Radiant Garden, they saw The Dark Sage, holding onto Sephiroth’s Sword. Manuel said, “Now the time is now to end your destruction, my brother.” The Dark Sage laughed and said, “You think I’m your brother… Please…” The Dark Sage wielded Sephiroth’s Sword and started his attack against them. Manuel’s brother’s Heartless took the front line, but met a cruel and quick death with one swipe. The Dark Sage jumped at the Sages. The Sages defended themselves against The Dark Sage. Though Manuel hasn’t battled The Dark Sage since him and Valmar fought him, The Dark Sage was more powerful than the last time. Finally, when the Sages collectively caught a stalemate against The Dark Sage and threw him off, they got together and tried to re-strategize. Manuel said, “This time, my brother is fighting more powerful.” Michelle said, “Soo, what exactly do we do??” Manuel said, “We have to take turns against him. It will slow him down and if we randomize our choices, we can get a higher advantage.” The Sages agreed to the plan and broke off. The Sages managed to get around The Dark Sage. Kaylee went first and went all out on The Dark Sage. The Dark Sage felt a few attacks from Kaylee’s Keyblades. Once Kaylee jumped out, Dani was quick to jump in and unleash her power. The Dark Sage was fought down to one knee, until Dani jumped back. Kim wasted no time to quickly attack The Dark Sage and jump back. Michelle jumped straight in and delivered a striking blow that made The Dark Sage drop Sephiroth’s Sword and fall to both knees. Manuel walked in and picked up Sephiroth’s Sword. Manuel said, “And now, my brother… You shall permanently be destroyed.” The Dark Sage started to laugh and said, “You truly don’t know, do you Manuel… All this time, I have been able to hide it…” Suddenly, another voice came from behind Manuel and it said, “And it has cost you your Sages…” Manuel turned around and saw another hooded character, pointing their staff at the Sages suspending them in motion. Manuel said, “It cannot be… Two Dark Sages?!” One Dark Sage laughed and said, “You know what. Just go back to the Hyrule Castle.” Manuel turned back and saw that The Dark Sage he was facing has disappeared. Manuel turned back again and saw that The Dark Sage, holding his Sages in suspended animation, also disappeared. Manuel said, “What the hell is going on?!” Manuel activated his watch and said, “Computer, teleport me back to the ship.” The Computer Voice said, “Teleporting now…” Manuel disappeared from Radiant Garden. Right after Manuel disappeared, another portal appeared. Sora, King Mickey, Riku, and Kairi walked out from the portal. Sora said, “We just missed him, huh…” King Mickey said, “Yep, but it looks like he left Sephiroth’s Sword behind…” Kairi said, “Soo, what do we do now…” King Mickey said, “We wait again. He will be back and this time, he should be with his Apprentice.” Kairi said, “And how exactly do you know this??” King Mickey summoned an Icicle Blue Scepter and said, “Because, he will be searching for these. I just hope this doesn’t fall out of our hands…” Sora said, “Let’s get back to the Disney Castle, Mickey.” King Mickey nodded and followed them back through their portal. Right after they walked back through the portal, the portal disappeared.

Back on the ship, Manuel frantically ran to the computer room and activated his tracking device. Manuel said, “Computer, locate my Sages.” The computer started the tracking device and located the Sages. The Computer Voice said, “Sages are located at the Hyrule Castle. Should I depart the ship for the Realm of Hyrule??” Manuel said, “Yes, I will be in my room. I don’t plan on sleeping.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel. Departing now.” The ship started up and blasted off towards the Realm of Hyrule. Manuel made his way back to his room and shut his door. Manuel sat down at his computer and opened up a new document. Remembering that he wanted to chronicle his journeys, Manuel started to type about the night of the storm. After finishing it, Manuel scrolled back to the top and gave it the title: ‘Prologue – The Awakening of the Sages.’ Manuel remembered that he made a folder called: ‘The Destruction of the Sages’ and saved his document in the folder. Manuel continued to type and type, until he had finally stopped to his latest adventure. Once Manuel finished and closed out his writing program, Manuel opened the folder called: ‘My Stories’ and saw many folders. Manuel opened the folder called: ‘Book I – The Sages of the Creators’ and saw all the chapters. After back-tracking, Manuel opened the folder called: ‘Book II – The Destruction of the Sages’ and saw that he was fully updated with the chapters: ‘Chapter 1 – A Haven City Re-union,’ ‘Chapter 2 – The K-N-D Founders,’ ‘Chapter 3 – The Demonic Destruction,’ ‘Chapter 4 – The Secret Continues,’ and ‘Chapter 5 – The Keyblades of Destruction.’ Feeling a bit tired, Manuel said, “Computer, what is our ETA to the Realm of Hyrule??” The Computer Voice said, “Our ETA is currently 14 hours and 39 minutes.” Manuel said, “How is that possible?? How long have I been typing??” The Computer Voice said, “You’ve been typing for over 6 hours.” Manuel said, “And our ETA is still a long way??” The Computer Voice said, “We are on the other-side of the universe… Remember??” Manuel said, “I remember now… Thanks, computer. Okay, wake me when it’s 2 hours prior??” The Computer Voice said, “By alarm clock??” Manuel said, “That would be nice…” The Computer Voice said, “Okay, done.” Manuel said, “Thank you. I’m going to bed now…” Manuel got up and got into comfier clothes. Suddenly, Manuel just thought of something. Manuel looked around and saw that his room was totally destroyed, except for his computer and bed. Manuel said, “Umm, computer?? Why am I just noticing that my room was attacked??” The Computer Voice said, “What happened??” Manuel said, “My room is totally destroyed…” Manuel walked out of his room and walked towards the living room. Manuel saw that the living room was totally decimated into pieces. Manuel ran into the other Sages’ rooms and saw that they, too, were totally decimated. Manuel walked back into the computer room and activated the video camera system. Manuel replayed back about 4-6 hours prior. Manuel saw that the Sages were just about to disappear from the ship. Once they disappeared, Manuel saw that The Dark Sage appeared in the ship and started to destroy everything in the ship. Manuel stopped the replay and just closed it. Manuel said, “How dare The Dark Sage attack his ship. I will make sure that he’s destroyed, by any and every means necessary." Manuel walked back into his room and just jumped into his bed. After getting the covers over him, Manuel quickly fell asleep and into his eternal sea of dreams. After Manuel fell asleep, the Bluish Figure appeared in his room and laid down next to him. The Bluish Figure softly said, “I wish I could tell you who The Dark Sage is… However, I know it would truly break you apart…” The Bluish Figure gave Manuel a kiss on his cheek and Manuel just smiled. The Bluish Figure quickly fell asleep, snuggled up against Manuel. Manuel felt that someone was trying to snuggle up against him and raised his arm. The Bluish Figure snuggled softly against him and Manuel put down his arm, and the Bluish Figure grabbed it and held onto it. Manuel and the Bluish Figure were fast asleep, while the ship was safely flying through space to their next destination. Suddenly, the alarm went off. Manuel jumped up and said, “Computer, are we at Hyrule already?!” The Computer Voice said, “No, a new transmission was sent and it’s highly important.” Manuel got up and put on his robe and walked to the Computer Room. Once Manuel walked into the room, Manuel activated his computer and saw that there was a transmission. Manuel opened the transmission and saw that it was a girl. Manuel said, “How did you contact me…” The girl said, “You think he didn’t teach me a lot about what he knew?? Listen Manuel, there’s one more way to bring all this back… And you know you should.” Manuel said, “Lizzy, Nigel is dead. I witnessed his death by The Dark Sage.” Lizzy said, “Oh really…” Lizzy signaled someone to go to her and Manuel saw that it was Nigel Uno, the leader of the Kids Next Door. Manuel said, “What treachery is this?! Nigel, how are you alive?!” Nigel said, “Why do you think I was going to retire soon?? Me and Lizzy were going to High School together and we planned on being together and concentrating on our love. However, with the destruction of the Kids Next Door, I couldn’t tell her what was happening.” Lizzy said, “But, when I heard the sound of Nigel’s tree-house exploding, I looked out from my room and saw that it was demolished. Soo, remembering what Nigel taught me about the Kids Next Door, I logged into my own account and did a thorough scan around the world to find out if any other tree-houses were still standing.” Manuel said, “There wasn’t any left. After me and David left our President’s tree-house, or what was left of it, and went back to my house, I gave the command of self-destructing each and every KND tree-house to make sure that the KND can’t be used for any other uses.” Lizzy said, “Well, we believe that we should let it continue…” Manuel said, “Lizzy… Nigel… I appreciate the fact that you two want to continue the Kids Next Door. But, as President, I feel that we should just let it go.” Nigel said, “Well, President Valmar, if you don’t want to join in resurrecting them, we will do it ourselves.” Manuel gave a sigh and said, “Listen Nigel… I know you both mean well… And I see you both still wear the wedding rings that I gave you both… I even remember the day I held the tremendous ceremony of your wedding. Man, that day marked a new day for each and every Kids Next Door operative. And the reception was even better. I was very happy to see that you two were finally together.” Nigel said, “And we vowed to always be together, no matter what. And soo far, we have been faithful to each other and remained always in love.” Manuel smiled and said, “Soon, you two will be taking classes together in high school and eventually, you two will become intimate. I mean, farther than kissing.” Lizzy said, “What’s farther than kissing??” Manuel laughed and said, “You two will find out and when you two do, I expect you two still be together. I have issued you two a direct order to stay together, forever. Those rings are binding and you two shall never let that disappear.” Lizzy and Nigel both said, “Yes, Mr. President!!” Manuel gave another sigh and said, “How serious are you both to bring back the Kids Next Door??” Nigel was about to speak, until Lizzy said, “As serious as me and Nigel are to stay together, Mr. President.” Manuel said, “Okay then… How bad has the damage been done to the future kids??” Nigel said, “It’s like when you were a kid, Manuel… When you and David were trying to break free from the evil before… Except this time, there’s no evil…” Lizzy said, “We are just going to try and extend the invitation to every known kid that can be apart. We can send them through training and even try and recruit all across the world. I’m sure that if the kids see that the Kids Next Door is coming back, they will be most grateful to return.” Manuel said, “I hope you’re right. Because if this doesn’t work, then the Kids Next Door has to stay buried and destroyed forever.” Nigel said, “If it doesn’t work, we can shut down the operation and walk away from this. You have my word.” Lizzy said, “And you have my word, Mr. President.” Manuel said, “As you both wish. Meet at my house. I will send you the coordinates. I want you two there, now.” Nigel said, “We will be waiting for the coordinates and once we get to your house, we will be waiting inside.” Manuel said, “I hope that this works, because though I have never questioned you two… This attempt to resurrect the Kids Next Door from what destruction we all had to face… The destruction has shaken many, if not all, the kids that once believed in us. Truth be told, it has even shaken my beliefs in the Kids Next Door.” Nigel said, “Don’t worry… You are not the only one… Our beliefs are shaken, as well.” Manuel said, “I will alert our other President. You two, get to my house, now.” Manuel saluted Nigel and Lizzy and closed the transmission. Manuel said, “I can’t believe that I’m going through with this…” The Computer Voice said, “Soo, am I to change our direct course to your home??” Manuel said, “Yes, get us there as fast as possible.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” Manuel opened a private chat channel and sent an invite to his long time friend and King of Haven City, David. Manuel was thinking of a reason to send the invite and decided to just put: “The Resurrection of the Kids Next Door.” Manuel didn’t have to wait long, because David quickly appeared on the computer screen and said, “Resurrection?! I thought we were keep it buried and destroyed…” Manuel said, “Lizzy and Nigel can back to me…” David said, “I thought Nigel was dead…” Manuel said, “Nigel must’ve been smart enough to hide most of our technology of life at Lizzy’s house. Remember when we wed them together??” David said, “Oh yeah… That was a good day. Anyways, do they want to bring back the Kids Next Door??” Manuel said, “Yep. They want to bring it back, even though they have disbeliefs about it working.” David said, “Even we have the same disbelief, don’t we…” Manuel said, “I know I do… But, maybe we can make it work again… We did last time… And what exactly can stop us, this time??” David said, “Maybe the fact of the kids, not wanting to believe in the Kids Next Door…” Manuel said, “And maybe the fact that The Dark Sage may get wind that we are trying to resurrect the Kids Next Door and attempt to stop us. However, this time, though we will be in our kids forms, we can use our full force of power.” David said, “Because he destroyed the Book of KND, right??” Manuel said, “He did, indeed destroy the original Book of KND… But it doesn’t mean that it’s gone forever… I have it on my old computer, hidden under many coded and layers of passwords and encryptions. Soo, teleport to my ship and we will be back at our homeworld and we can settle this.” David said, “On my way.” Manuel closed out the transmission and went back to his room. Once Manuel got out of his robe and laid back down, Manuel fell back asleep. After Manuel was asleep, the Bluish Figure re-appeared and laid back down, in his arms. Manuel and the Bluish Figure were sound asleep, while the ship was on a new course for Manuel’s homeworld to help resurrect the Kids Next Door and hope that lightning will not strike twice.

Chapter Six - The K-N-D Resurrection

As the ship flew back to Manuel’s homeworld, Manuel was already awake and about on his ship. Manuel was trying to clean up the mess The Dark Sage made of his ship, before David came aboard. While Manuel was cleaning and listening to his music that echoed throughout the ship, a familiar voice said, “Still listening to the same music…” Manuel said, “And your point, David??” David said, “It’s just good to know that you haven’t changed.” Manuel said, “Well, since we have a resurrection to do, I have to keep a level head.” David said, “You think the resurrection is a failed attempt, too??” Manuel said, “Much more of a failed attempt, David. I think they don’t want to let go of the one thing that brought them together.” David said, “I thought the same thing. Soo, why exactly are we going through with this, if we feel like it’s a failed attempt…” Manuel said, “Because, I want them to realize that they are working towards a failed attempt of resurrecting the Kids Next Door.” David said, “If they can make it work, let’s give them our Presidential Positions to them.” Manuel thought about it and said, “Sounds like a deal to me.” David said, “Need any help??” Manuel said, “I’m not gonna bother with the other rooms and my room is already done. I’m almost done here.” David said, “I’ll pick up the rest.” David started picking up the left over trash and placed it in a pile. Manuel managed to use his magic to repair the couches and the TV and anything else that was broken. After a few hours, the Computer Voice said, “Manuel, we have reached our destination.” Manuel said, “Go ahead and land us at my house.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” David said, “Soo, we are landing soon??” Manuel said, “Yep. Do you remember where you placed the Re-Commissioning Device??” David said, “I think I do…” Manuel laughed and said, “If anything, we can revert to our kid-forms here, on the ship.” David said, “Let’s just do that.” Manuel signaled David to follow him and they walked into the Teleportation Room. Manuel said, “Computer, can you revert us back to our kid-forms again??” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel. Kids Next Door attire and everything??” Manuel said, “Our kid-forms and give us our original Kids Next Door attire… The outfit that had many holes and rips.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” A bright light filled the room and within seconds, Manuel and David were reverted back to their kid-forms. The light disappeared from the room and Manuel said, “I hope this is the last time I have to revert back to my kid-form.” David said, “I sense that it will be… Why is that??” Manuel looked at him and said, “Are you joking?!” David laughed and said, “Thought I get you with that… Anyways, it’s good to see that our original clothes… Soo much history were put into these old clothes…” Manuel was wearing a black shirt that had the initials: ‘K-N-D’ painted in red and a pair of shorts that seemed to have much pockets to carry many things and shoes that were outfitted for flying. David’s only difference was that his initials were painted in green. Manuel said, “Computer, have we landed??” The Computer Voice said, “I was just about to alert you. Nigel and Lizzy Uno are awaiting in the Underground HQ.” Manuel said, “We will be there, shortly.” David said, “Are you sure we should be even doing this??” Manuel said, “I can understand your doubts. I have mine, too. But, I will let them figure this out, on their own.” Manuel and David exited the ship and walked into the Underground HQ, where Nigel and Lizzy Uno were waiting for them. Manuel said, “Good to see that you two managed to find where I live.” Nigel said, “Well, now that we are here, let’s get down to business.” Manuel said, “Wait a minute, Nigel… If you be saying something, I might as be saying something as well…” David said, “Here’s the deal, you two… You two want this to happen… You two want to bring back the Kids Next Door… We will help in any way we can, but if you can pull this off, we are going to resign from our Presidential Positions and we are giving them to you.” Lizzy said, “Are you sure?!” Manuel said, “Look, we already did our jobs and completed the most phenomenal missions and operations that have benefitted the Kids Next Door. If you want to resurrect the Kids Next Door, we will give you our Presidential Positions as a token of appreciation.” Nigel said, “Then, it will be a great honor to complete this mission.” Manuel said, “Then, let’s get down to work. At your commands, Nigel and Lizzy.” The four discussed their ultimate plan and decided to go back to the Presidential Tree-house and make their next move. Before leaving, Manuel managed to send a message to each and every remaining kid that wants to join the Kids Next Door. The four remaining Kids Next Door Operatives made their adventure to the President Tree-house.

Once the KND Operatives arrived at the remains of the President Tree-house, thousands of kids were inside the tree-house. The KND Operatives made it inside and saw the thousands of kids. The KND Operatives made their way to the top and made a signal to silence the thousands of kids. Manuel said, “My fellow kids… You all have received word about the destruction of the Kids Next Door. You all remember the fateful day that the KND were ultimately destroyed. However, The Dark Sage made the grave mistake of letting the Presidents and Lizzy alive… Now, we are going to bring back the Kids Next Door.” David said, “We have enlisted each and every one of you to train under our training and resurrect the Kids Next Door.” Manuel said, “I understand that many of you have much doubt that the Kids Next Door can be brought back. However, we are going to work hard and long to bring this back. I would like to present you your two commanding officers, Nigel and Lizzy Uno.” Manuel signaled for Nigel and Lizzy to step forward and present themselves. Once Nigel and Lizzy were center stage, Manuel whispered into Nigel’s ear, “Take command of this. We are going to our Presidential Room.” Manuel and David left Nigel and Lizzy in command of training the future Kids Next Door operatives. Manuel and David walked into their Presidential Room, which was very much destroyed. Manuel and David managed to re-form their Presidential Chairs and stable them enough to sit down. Manuel said, “I can’t believe that they are actually going through with this, David.” David said, “I’m as surprised as you are. And I was able to feel the doubt within many of those kids.” Manuel said, “I know. It was really strong, but I think that they want to believe that we can definite bring it back.” Nigel Uno came walking in and said, “I’m having Lizzy take our troops to our secret location to train.” Manuel said, “Nigel, sit down.” Nigel Uno shut the door and managed to find a decent chair and sit down. Manuel continued, “Listen Nigel. As much as I want this to happen, we both have a strong feeling something’s gonna happen.” Nigel said, “What exactly do you mean, President??” David said, “Manuel senses something evil surrounding Lizzy.” Nigel said, “That’s impossible. Lizzy would never let evil take over her.” Manuel said, “I definitely understand what you may feel. However, do be careful about her, Nigel. If she is evil and shows any sign of evil, you must destroy her immediately.” Nigel was silent and David said, “I know that may be very difficult that you may have to do that… However, can we count on you to complete the task??” Nigel said, “If the times truly calls for it… You can count on me to execute that task.” Manuel said, “Just be careful, my friend. Go to the Secret Training Tree-house Forest and send us updates on their training.” Nigel said, “By your command, my Presidents.” Nigel gave them a salute and left the Presidential Room to leave the President Tree-house. Manuel said, “Do you think he would actually destroy his wife??” David said, “If anything, he would try and stop her. But, I don’t think he would actually kill her.” Manuel said, “I don’t think he would ever harm Lizzy. However, how’s about we make a stealth mission and go see what they are up to at the Secret Base??” David said, “Sounds fun to me. But, instead of flying, can we teleport??” Manuel laughed and said, “Sounds good.” Manuel and David stood up and walked to the main room of the President Tree-house. Manuel and David gazed upon the ruin of the tree-house, remembering the battle that once took place. Manuel said, “Are you ready??” David nodded his head. Manuel held out his Staff of Sages and tapped the ground twice. Within a flash, Manuel and David disappeared. Once Manuel and David disappeared, the tree-house fell into pieces and to the ground.

Manuel and David re-appeared in a very tall and wide forest. Manuel said, “I can hear them, in the distance.” Manuel pointed right of him and said, “That way. Let’s go.” Manuel and David quickly ran through the forest, jumping and dodging any logs that lay near them. Manuel pointed in David’s direction and David jumped up and grabbed a branch and swung himself to the top of the tree. Manuel jumped to the tree, right next to David’s, and made his way to the top, as well. Once they were at the top, they were able to see over the entire forest. Manuel said, “They’re over there.” Manuel pointed in the direction that was between them and they saw a wide open area, where no trees were growing. Manuel said, “Shall we??” David nodded his head and they started hopping from one tree-top to the next. Once they got to the end of the forest, they stopped and saw all the kids training. Manuel and David gazed upon all the hundreds of kids, training and learning new abilities. Manuel said, “Let’s test them.” David said, “Sounds fun to me.” Manuel and David put on bandannas and hid their KND appearances. Once they dropped down to the bottom of the trees. They nodded at each other and charged in at all the kids. The kids saw that the two were coming and decided to try and attack. Manuel and David deflected each and every KND Trainee’s attacks and performed a temporary paralysis on them. Manuel and David managed to defeat the KND Trainees that were learning, until Nigel and Lizzy sent the rest of them to attack. Manuel and David ran to meet the army of kids and clashed with them all. One by one, each KND Trainee was defeated and was placed in the temporary paralysis. Once it came down to Nigel and Lizzy, they tried their absolute hardest to defeat Manuel and David. Nigel said, “I don’t know who you two are or how you managed to find our secret base. But we will make sure that you don’t leave here alive.” Manuel and David made the first move and within seconds, managed to defeat the Commanding Officers. Once everyone was defeated, Manuel and David laughed. Manuel said, “Nigel… You are slipping, my friend.” Manuel and David took of their disguises and Nigel and Lizzy were stunned that it was their Presidents. Manuel snapped his fingers and the temporary paralysis disappeared and all the kids got back up. Manuel and David jumped to a higher platform and gave a loud whistle. Manuel said, “Listen up, my fellow Kids Next Door Operatives. That was merely a drill to see how well many of you progressed.” David said, “And all of you passed with flying colors.” Manuel said, “Yes, all of you fought gallantly. Keep up the good work and we will have the Kids Next Door resurrected in no time.” David said, “We will now be monitoring all of your progress.” Manuel said, “And we will be teaching, as well. Soo, those who want to learn how to use the weaponry, swords, and staves… When you get back to the base, insert your given number into the bins that you want to learn, in the main hall, and we will go from there.” Manuel and David saluted and they teleported to the Secret Base. Once they appeared back, Manuel said, “Okay, let’s make those bins.” Manuel summoned the supplies and tools to make the bins. While they were making the bins, David said, “Swords and Staves too??” Manuel said, “If we are going to make sure the Kids Next Door is resurrected, they will need our teachings, as well.” David said, “True… Soo three bins??” Manuel finished making the labels and said, “Yep. Just three. Set them there.” David set up the bins and Manuel labeled the bins. Once they were labeled and completed, Manuel and David left and went to their own rooms, hidden inside the Secret Base. After walking into a hidden room, Manuel said, “Here’s where we split and rest in our own rooms.” Manuel and David did their signature shake hands and left for their rooms. Once David walked into his room, he gazed upon all the old history that he once commanded. David softly said, “It really does feel good to be back here and teaching again.” David laid down on his bed and quickly fell into a slumber of dreams. As for Manuel, once he walked into his room, Manuel remembered all the old history that was perfectly in place in his room. As Manuel looked around, Manuel softly said, “I remember commanding everything in here. To once think that I grew up and had to stop playing with these is something I couldn’t truly do.” Once Manuel laid down on his bed, Manuel found himself in his Eternal Sea of Dreams. However, it wasn’t very long until an alert came to their rooms. Manuel woke up and activated the alert on his screen. Manuel saw a dark hooded figure attacking the Kids Next Door Trainees. Manuel said, “No… Not again…” David came bursting into his room and said, “He’s back!!” Manuel smashed his screen and grabbed his Staff of Sages and said, “Let’s end this, David.” Manuel and David went back to the main hall, where it was littered with lifeless KND Trainees. Manuel said, “Okay, what’s different about this picture, than the last fight we had with him??” David said, “They are all wearing the same hooded cloak The Dark Sage wears.” Suddenly, they heard Nigel’s scream come from the outside. Manuel and David blasted their way outside and saw that The Dark Sage had Nigel by his shirt. Manuel said, “How dare you come back…” The Dark Sage turned to them and said, “I should’ve let this stay buried, when I finally had the chance.” Manuel said, “I know that voice.” David said, “It cannot be, Manuel.” The Dark Sage threw his hood back and it was Lizzy, herself. Manuel said, “How dare you do such a thing, Lizzy. I thought you wanted to help resurrect the KND because that’s what Nigel would want.” Lizzy said, “That’s the damn point. Nigel always chose the Kids Next Door over his own girl-friend. Well, I’m sick of it.” Nigel said, “Why have you done this to us??” Lizzy said, “For years, I loathed the Kids Next Door, because it always made you spend countless hours away from us.” Nigel said, “That’s why I was going to retire, once this was resurrected. I wanted to do this, because I knew that once I retired, I could make up for all that missed hours I spent with the Kids Next Door.” Lizzy threw Nigel into the ground. Lizzy said, “I let you stay in the Kids Next Door and I managed to use you to gain access to everything. However, once I learned that this Dark Sage person eliminated each and every Kids Next Door Operative and single-handedly crushed the Kids Next Door for good, I felt betrayed.” Manuel said, “Why would you feel betrayed??” Lizzy turned to him and said, “Because, I wanted the chance to defeat the Kids Next Door. Why do you think I managed to barely eliminate number 2-5??” Nigel sat back up and said, “It was you that killed them?!” Lizzy kicked Nigel in the face and said, “Yes, I was the one that killed them.” David said, “Lizzy, you have lost your mind, completely.” Lizzy said, “Now, I have the perfect chance to eliminate all the Kids Next Door kids, once and for all.” Lizzy withdrew a sword and Manuel said, “I thought I destroyed that sword…” David said, “What sword is that??” Manuel said, “That’s the Demonic Sword.” David said, “I’ve only heard myths and rumors about that sword… We may be in a lot of trouble now.” Manuel and David withdrew their swords, as well. Lizzy said, “Watch this.” Lizzy snapped her fingers. Suddenly, Manuel and David saw that the Kids Next Door Trainees started to march and surround them. Manuel said, “That’s why they are wearing The Dark Sage’s hooded cloak, David. It’s a Mind-Control power.” David said, “If she managed to mind control all the KND Trainees, who’s to say she isn’t mind controlled herself??” Manuel said, “Excellent point. Let’s try and pry that cloak off her.” Lizzy wasted no time and started to attack Manuel and David. Manuel and David easily dodged and blocked her attacks and managed to defeat her within seconds. Manuel managed to get the Demonic Sword away from her and David managed to get her out of the cloak. Lizzy started to laugh. Manuel said, “I don’t think this is working, David.” Lizzy got back to her feet and said, “The Dark Sage isn’t controlling me. I asked for this evil power and I got what I wished for. Now, with this power, I will defeat the Kids Next Door.” Lizzy quickly struck David and got her cloak back. After quickly putting it back on, she said, “My Kids Next Door Trainees, attack them all!!” Manuel and David went back to grab Nigel and run. Once they went to grab Nigel, Nigel jerked his arm away from them and grabbed the Demonic Sword. Manuel said, “Nigel, what are you thinking?!” Nigel said, “You gave me a mission. I’m carrying it out. Lizzy is evil and I was commanded to destroy her.” Manuel said, “Can you handle it??” Nigel said, “It can be done. Just go destroy the Secret Base. I don’t want any trace of KND to ever be found.” Manuel nodded his head and had David follow him into the Secret Base. Lizzy was about to go after them, until Nigel threw his own sword at her and said, “Your fight is with me, Lizzy.” Lizzy grabbed Nigel’s sword and turned around and said, “Let’s see if you have the ability to defeat your wife, Nigel.” Lizzy flew at Nigel and they engaged their battle.

Once Manuel and David managed to make it back inside, they were greeted by the mind controlled KND Trainees. Manuel said, “Temporary Paralysis, David.” David said, “Let’s do this.” Manuel and David attacked their own KND Trainees and managed to make sure they were paralyzed. Manuel and David continued to fight more KND Trainees, until they reached the Reactor Room in the Secret Base. Manuel said, “Magically, David.” Manuel summoned his Staff of Sages and David put away his weapon and held out his hands. Once they managed to concentrate enough power, Manuel and David summoned a big ball of magic and fired it at the reactor. Suddenly, the reactor started to malfunction and it exploded, causing the Secret Base to start falling apart. David said, “Time to go, my friend.” Manuel said, “Indeed.” Manuel and David managed to escape the Secret Base’s destruction and landed outside the Secret Base. Manuel and David looked back up and saw that Lizzy and Nigel were still fighting. They could tell Nigel was really fatigued, but he managed to keep fighting. Suddenly, Nigel miscalculated an attack and Lizzy struck him with his own sword, causing Nigel to fall to both his knees and drop the Demonic Sword. Lizzy said, “You should’ve eliminated me, a long time ago, Nigel.” Lizzy grasped Nigel’s sword and imbedded it into his head, causing instant death. Nigel fell to the ground and Lizzy picked up the Demonic Sword. Manuel and David managed to get up, but the explosion was soo powerful that it caused major damage to them. Lizzy said, “And now, to finish off the Presidents.” Suddenly, something stopped her from moving. They heard a voice come from nowhere and it said, “What have I done??” Lizzy said, “I was doing you a favor, Lizzy. That boy wasn’t good enough.” Manuel seized the opportunity and magically froze Lizzy in place. Manuel summoned his Staff of Sages and concentrated some power to project the other voice within Lizzy. Within seconds, the true Lizzy appeared in a spiritual form. Manuel said, “What happened to you, Lizzy??” The Spirit Lizzy said, “I felt mad and depressed when I found out the Kids Next Door was destroyed, including my husband, Nigel.” The other Lizzy said, “Un-freeze me, Manuel.” Manuel said, “Shut it. Spirit Lizzy, how could you let yourself feel hatred and let the darkness in??” David said, “Don’t you remember what me, Manuel, and Nigel kept telling you??” The Spirit Lizzy said, “To always be strong and think positive. I know, I should’ve remembered that. But when I heard that it was the end, I couldn’t take it. My only wish was to have Nigel back with me. But now, I let this evil destroy the one true thing I wanted most. What should I do?? You can’t take the evil out of me…” Manuel said, “Our only option is to destroy you, permanently. If you want to be free from this evil and in the arms of Nigel Uno again, that’s your only option. I can’t extract this hatred and evil from you. It’s too attached to your soul and heart that I would eventually kill you. It just would be slower and more painful.” The Spirit Lizzy said, “I understand. Do what is necessary. Once it’s done, I will know it, because I will be able to see Nigel again.” Lizzy saluted them and disappeared. Manuel turned to the other Lizzy and struck her with his Staff of Sages. Manuel said, “David.” David said, “What’s up??” Manuel said, “Finish her. Make her suffer the same fate Nigel did.” David grabbed the Demonic Sword from Lizzy, sat her upright, and imbedded the Demonic Sword in her head, causing instant death. Suddenly, all the Kids Next Door Trainees that were still standing around them fell to the ground. Manuel and David went to inspect any that were alive, but found no kid left alive. Manuel said, “Lizzy killed all these Kids Next Door Trainees and replaced their bodies with controlled souls that she could control.” David said, “What’s our next move??” Manuel said, “Set the forest on fire. Use our special fire to where no trace of this ever existed.” David nodded his head and summoned the fire and blasted certain parts of the forest and the place around them to set the forest on fire. Manuel looked back at the Secret Base and softly said, “I knew I should’ve just let this be…” David said, “I think we should be leaving now.” Manuel nodded his head and tapped the ground with the Staff of Sages twice and they teleported out of the forest, leaving it to burn and leaving the Kids Next Door in the past once and for all.

Once they appeared back in Manuel’s house, in the Underground HQ, Manuel said, “Computer, revert us back to our current appearance.” Nothing responded. David said, “I don’t think you had the computer convert back to the house.” Manuel said, “Oh yeah… Well, let’s chill and smoke some hooka.” David said, “I’m down.” Manuel and David left the Underground HQ and made their way back to Manuel’s closet. Once they exited the elevator, Manuel closed it up and hid it back into the wall and covered the switch. Once they left Manuel’s room and made their way downstairs, David went into the kitchen and Manuel went to the near-by closet. Manuel opened the doors and said, “Which one you want to prepare??” David said, “It’s smoke out of Big Red.” Manuel the tallest hooka in the closet and brought it into the kitchen. Manuel said, “Man, I remember when we got this hooka…” David said, “I do too. Custom red design, just about 4 feet tall and custom bowl and top to make it more flavorful. Speaking of flavors, what flavor you want??” Manuel immediately said, “Strawberry Daiquiri.” David said, “A wise choice, my friend.” Manuel grabbed the hoses and David took off the top soo he could fill the bottom up with some ice cold water with pieces of ice in it. Manuel turned on the stove and put a halfly broken stick of coals on to light them. The stove didn’t take long to heat and the coals were almost immediately lit. After Manuel flipped them a couple of times and David finally loaded the hooka with the Strawberry Daiquiri and put the lid on, Manuel took the coal off the burner and placed it on top of the hooka. David grabbed the hooka and walked into the living room to sit down. Manuel shut off the stove, grabbed two 1 liters of Dr. Pepper, and made his way into the living room, as well. Once Manuel sat down and gave David his green hose, Manuel placed his red hose into the hooka and ripped it big time. Within that first rip, he managed to get out a huge thick cloud of smoke. David said, “Still to this day, I will never know how you can do that.” Manuel laughed and David ripped it, almost as good and Manuel did. David was blowing smoke rings with his smoke. Manuel said, “And to this day, I will never be able to do that.” David laughed and they both took a drink from their Dr. Pepper. For the rest of the day, up until nightfall, Manuel and David talked about old times and smoked the hooka and drank their 1 liter of Dr. Pepper. Manuel and David eventually fell asleep on the couch, because they were soo tired that they didn’t even know they fell asleep. What woke them up, however, was the sound of the alarm system. Manuel woke up and said, “Computer, what is going on??” The Computer Voice said, “Have you forgotten??” Manuel was trying to think about what the Computer Voice meant, until he said, “Hyrule!!” David woke up and said, “What about Hyrule??” Manuel said, “I totally forgotten that my next destination was Hyrule. Instead, I went and had you help me resurrect the Kids Next Door.” David said, “Well, let’s get back on that ship and head to Hyrule. We can sleep on the way, right??” Manuel laughed and said, “Yeah, we can. Computer, have the ship ready for departure.” The Computer Voice said, “It’s already in orbit. Just teleport to the ship.” Manuel said, “Even better. Way to think ahead, Computer.” Manuel looked at David and said, “You want to go to Hyrule??” David said, “I’m always down for an adventure.” Manuel nodded his head and said, “Well, let’s put away the hooka and stuff first.” Manuel gave the hoses and empty Dr. Pepper bottes to David and he grabbed the hooka and walked over to the closet, where he got it from. After opening the closet and storing the hooka inside and shutting the doors, Manuel said, “You ready??” David met back up with him and said, “Let’s go.” Manuel summoned his Staff of Sages and tapped the floor twice. With a bright flash, they were gone from his house. Once they appeared on the ship, Manuel said, “Computer, get us to Hyrule.” The Computer Voice said, “Even if we move very fast, our ETA would still be around 18hrs.” Manuel said, “Then, let’s do that.” Manuel and David felt the ship blast off. David said, “Okay, I’m heading to my room, or what’s left of it.” Manuel said, “Okay, my friend. Sleep well and we should be alerted, by alarm clocks in our rooms, that we are close to Hyrule.” David said, “Sounds good.” David saluted Manuel and left to his room. Manuel saluted back and walked into his room. Manuel got out of his clothes and into some comfier clothes that he managed to find that wasn’t destroyed. Manuel laid down on his bed and quickly fell back into his Eternal Sea of Dreams. Right after Manuel fell asleep, the Bluish Figure appeared and made her way into Manuel’s arms. Manuel felt the movement and made room for her to lay down next to him. Manuel put down his arm and he felt her touch. The Bluish Figure placed her hand with Manuel’s and he locked hands with her. Knowing that it felt right, they both fell asleep. As the last two Sages slept from a very horrific and tragic battle, the ship silently, but quickly, made its way to its second to last destination: The Realm of Hyrule.

Chapter Seven - The Revelation of the Sages

While the ship was flying to the Realm of Hyrule, Manuel and the Bluish Figure was softly and soundly asleep. Manuel slowly woke up and saw that the Bluish Figure was laying down with him. Manuel smiled and softly said, “I didn’t know you were here…” The Bluish Figure softly said, “I appeared after you fell asleep. I wasn’t suppose to??” Manuel said, “You have to remember that I’m with Michelle. We were married, remember??” The Bluish Figure said, “True, but we were also married in the before life… Why do you think you still have the Triforce Wedding Ring??” Manuel said, “I just thought it part of my source of power.” The Bluish Figure said, “It is. You have only three sources of your power and you carry them at all times.” Manuel said, “And what are those sources??” The Bluish Figure said, “The Triforce Wedding Ring, the Staff of Sages also known as The Great Sage’s Staff, and the Legendary Triforce Neckalce.” Manuel said, “Soo, my Staff of Sages, my ring, and my necklace…” The Bluish Figure said, “Yes…” Suddenly, the alarm clock went off. Manuel turned it off and said, “Looks like we are at Hyrule.” The Bluish Figure said, “I will see you soon.” The Bluish Figure gave Manuel a kiss and quickly disappeared. Though Manuel wanted to ask, he decided to just leave it and get ready. Manuel put on his robes and grabbed his Staff of Sages and headed out to the living room. Manuel walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge to grab two Dr. Peppers for David and himself. After he grabbed them and shut the door, he saw that David was sitting on the couch. Manuel said, “Catch.” Manuel threw David the Dr. Pepper and David caught it. Manuel said, “I’m impressed. Without even looking this time, you caught it.” David said, “I try my best, my friend.” Manuel sat down on the couch and said, “Soo, you ready to see my Realm of Hyrule??” David said, “I always wanted to see it with my own eyes…” The Computer Voice said, “The Teleportation Room is ready, Manuel.” Manuel said, “And you will get to now. Let’s go.” David got up and they both walked into the Teleportation Room. Once they were inside, Manuel said, “Computer, teleport us into the Hyrule Castle.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel. Teleporting to destination: Inside the Hyrule Castle.” With a bright flash of light, Manuel and David were gone from the ship. However, back in the living room, the Bluish Figure re-appeared. She raised her arms into the air and suddenly, 5 other colorful figures appeared. The Bluish Figure said, “My Sages, I sense the end to these Sages, possibly along with Manuel.” The Orange Figure said, “Then, let’s find a way to prevent it.” The Green Figure said, “What about the Book of Sages??” The Bluish Figure said, “I have an idea, but it will require all of our power. Come with me.” The Figures walked into Manuel’s room and shut the door.

Back in the Hyrule Castle, Manuel and David were looking around and wondering why no one is about. David said, “Is the castle always this empty??” Manuel said, “No, it isn’t. There’s always someone walking about. This is truly weird.” Suddenly, a voice from behind them said, “You two came at least.” Manuel and David quickly turned around and withdrew their weapons. Manuel saw who it was and said, “Dammit Zelda… Don’t do that.” Princess Zelda said, “I do apologize, but when I felt your power arrive here, I had to see you.” David just kept on staring. Manuel said, “David, don’t think about it. I’m sure she would choose me over you.” David said, “You think soo??” Princess Zelda said, “Yes, I would choose Manuel. But, that’s not why you both are here. You both must come with me.” Princess Zelda walked in front of them, while Manuel and David followed behind. As they walked, David said, “Soo, what would I have to do in order to get with her??” Manuel said, “Haha. Are you really trying to get with Princess Zelda Hyrule??” David said, “It never hurts to try…” Princess Zelda said, “I can hear you, David. I will always prefer Manuel over anyone, including Link.” David said, “Wow, maybe I can’t compete with you.” Manuel laughed a bit and said, “Oh come on David… You have female servants in your castle.” David said, “And your point??” Manuel was about to say something, but said, “Nevermind. I think what I said clears it all up.” As they continued to walk down a hallway, David said, “Soo, we gonna tag-team her??” Manuel said, “You really think she’s leading us to a hidden room, just for that??” David said, “Hey, I’m just trying to think of the best outcome of all this.” Manuel shook his head and said, “Once again, like father, like son.” David laughed a bit and Princess Zelda said, “We are here.” They entered a room that had many portraits on the wall. Manuel noticed one looked exactly like the night that all of his Sages were in his care. Manuel said, “Why does this one look like the time I managed to find my Sages?!” Princess Zelda turned around and said, “Now, you must know the secret I was forced to keep from you.” David said, “Hey, look. There’s the time we had to defeat the Precursor God.” Manuel looked at many of the paintings and said, “You knew this was happening and you didn’t even tell me, Zelda?! Some trust I had in you…” Princess Zelda said, “It wasn’t my choice. It was theirs.” Princess Zelda pointed to a group of hooded cloaked people. Manuel said, “4 Dark Sages?!” One of the hooded people threw back its hood and Manuel couldn’t believe who it was. Manuel said, “No… No, this is not possible. Dani… How dare you.” Dani said, “I am sorry, Manuel. But we followed orders.” Another hooded person threw back its hood and it was Kim. Another hooded person revealed itself and it was Kaylee. Manuel dropped his Staff of Sages and said, “Please tell me that’s not Michelle…” The last hooded person threw back its hood and Manuel fell to his knees, feeling tears appearing. Michelle said, “I am truly sorry, Manuel. But, that dream you had when that storm was at your house… It wasn’t meant for you. I was suppose to receive that dream, because it was a message from your Masters.” Manuel looked at Princess Zelda. Manuel got back up and said, “What was the message suppose to tell her?!” Princess Zelda said, “The only thing I know is that it was suppose to end something.” Michelle said, “The message was about when you gave up your power. That showed the Masters that you were vulnerable and they couldn’t have that. Soo, they sent me and Kaylee back to you soo we could find the rest of the Sages.” Kaylee said, “Now that we were all brought back together, we had to find a way to destroy you.” Michelle said, “That’s why I was granted the power to re-create The Dark Sage. The Michelle you slept with, made love to, kissed, hugged, battled with, and everything like that… That wasn’t me. I became The Dark Sage and I managed to give the power to Kaylee and Kim and Dani. Now, we have the full power to carry out the Masters’ orders. And we all plan to see it through.” Manuel never knew how much he could be hurt, until he heard this from his own Apprentice and Wife. Though Manuel had no thoughts to put into words, he said, “I see, Michelle. You all want to turn against me and fight me?? That’s fine. I will meet you all at the Temple of the Sages. We shall battle there.” Manuel spoke into his watch, “Computer, prep the ship for take-off to the Temple of the Sages and teleport me and David onto the ship.” On the watch, the Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” Manuel said, “Before I leave, do well to remember this, Sages. You are facing with the Sage that has created the Seven Sages before. I will not go down soo easily. And I shall have David at my side to see this battle to the end. You four will know what pain you all have bestowed upon me… And here’s a small taste.” Manuel picked up his Staff of Sages and aimed it at his Sages. The 4 Sages held out their hands and created a barrier in front of them to block Manuel’s attack. Manuel smiled and said, “That won’t stop this attack.” Manuel concentrated his power into the top of the Staff and once it was powered up enough, Manuel swung his Staff of Sages and sent the power at his Sages. Their barrier didn’t stop the attack and it struck all the Sages, very hard. After that was done, Manuel and David were teleported to the ship. Princess Zelda ran to the Sages and saw that their cloaks were very slashed up and the Sages had many cuts on them. Michelle said, “This isn’t good, you three.” Princess Zelda used her powers to heal their wounds and cuts. Kaylee said, “I didn’t think that attack would beat our combined barrier.” Michelle said, “And what sucks is that he wasn’t even using his full power. We may be walking into a defeat, girls.” Kim said, “Well, we have no choice. We have orders and we have to carry them out, somehow.” Michelle said, “Then, let’s find our way to the Temple of the Sages.” Princess Zelda said, “If we concentrate our power, I’m sure I can teleport you all there. However, it will take time, because the Temple of the Sages is on the far side of the universe.” Michelle said, “Then, let’s get to work.”

Back on the ship, Manuel and David came walking out from the Teleportation Room. David said, “I can only imagine the stress and anger you are experiencing, right now…” Manuel said, “I knew there had to be a reason that this was happening. But, does that mean that when we faced The Dark Sage at the Kids Next Door party… That was Michelle??” David said, “According to her, it was.” Manuel said, “Soo, she basically could’ve killed us easily, and she didn’t because that wasn’t the plan. The plan was to have all the Sages join to kill me. Well, I will not stand for that. Do what you may David, but I’m going to meditate until we reach the Temple of the Sages.” Manuel walked into his room and shut the door and locked it. David said, “Well, I might as well get some sleep, because I’m still tired for some reason.” David went to his room and shut his door. In Manuel’s room, Manuel sat down on the floor and magically shut out all sounds and sights. Manuel started to concentrate his mind and thoughts to understand the current events that have been forcefully and painfully bestowed upon him. Though he kept on meditating his power and thoughts, the ship continued its set-course to the Temple of the Sages. Back in the Hyrule Castle, the 4 Sages and Princess Zelda were also concentrating their power enough to try and reach the Temple of the Sages, telepathically. After hours have passed, Manuel awoke from his meditation, because he sensed that the ship landed near the Temple of the Sages. Manuel grabbed his Staff of Sages and walked out of his room. David was already in the living room, ready to leave as well. Manuel said, “Are you ready, David??” David nodded his head and got up. Manuel said, “Then, we make our way into the Heart of the Temple. Computer, keep the ship prepped and ready. I sense that I will need it soon after this battle is over.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel. Be safe.” Manuel said, “I don’t about this time… But I will try.” Manuel and David exited the ship and made their way into the Temple of the Sages. As they kept on walking, the Temple’s energies and power started to awaken and power up the old Temple. Manuel said, “This may be the last time I ever see this place… And I don’t know if you’ll be able to even make it back to Haven City…” David said, “How do you calculate that??” Manuel said, “Well, if the battle I’ve seen is as big as it was, this Temple should be destroyed, causing a chain reaction of explosions that will effect each world around it. Then those worlds’ destruction will affect the other worlds around them. Basically, a Big Bang will happen.” David said, “Well, if it does, let’s hope that Haven City isn’t touched or damaged by it.” Manuel said, “I agree.” Manuel and David made their way to the Heart of the Temple. Manuel saw a big well and looked down. Manuel said, “That’s the power source of this Temple. I don’t know how it can exactly be destroyed, but it’s been said that if it’s offered a Sage as a sacrifice, it will react and something will happen.” As Manuel and David were gazing upon the mechanics and design of the Temple of the Sages, a voice from behind them said, “Soo, you are here.” Manuel and David turned around and saw that the 4 Sages were standing in front of them. Manuel said, “Soo, you four Sages decided to come after all. How lovely.” Michelle said, “Look Manuel… We have the orders to take you down, by any means necessary.” Manuel threw his Staff of Sages beyond them to create a barrier soo they couldn’t run and summoned his Twin Keyblades. David withdrew his Twin Blades, as well. Manuel said, “Soo, this is how the Sages come to an end… By the hands of The Great Sage and his partner.” Michelle said, “I managed to defeat you and David back at the Kids Next Door Re-union. I sure that with our combined powers this time, we can defeat you both.” Manuel pointed his Keyblade at Michelle and Kaylee and said, “You two are mine. David, you will take care of Dani and Kim.” David said, “With pleasure.” The four Sages summoned their weapons to arm themselves. Manuel said, “And to think that I trusted you with everything, Michelle… You will pay dearly for the betrayal you have done to me.” Michelle and Kaylee couldn’t hold in their fight and jumped at Manuel. Manuel defended himself and threw them off in the opposite direction of where David was standing. Manuel turned to David and said, “Go. Defeat them, without fail, my friend.” Manuel and David hit weapons as a high-five and went into battle. David jumped at Kim and Dani to attack them. Once Michelle and Kaylee got back up, Manuel stood in front of them, ready to fight. With David fighting Kim and Dani and Manuel fighting Kaylee and his Apprentice and Wife, Michelle, the Battle of the Sages began.

Chapter Eight - The Battle of the Sages

As David fought against Dani and Kim and Manuel battling Kaylee and his Apprentice and Wife, Michelle, the intensity of the battle started to effect the energies of the Temple of the Sages. The clashing of weapons echoed throughout the Temple. David managed to keep himself steady, though he was facing two Sages. As for Manuel, he attacked viciously against Michelle and Kaylee. Manuel felt no remorse as he landed slices and cuts on Michelle and Kaylee. Everyone now and then, Manuel would catch a peak on how David was holding up. Manuel caught a break and said, “I’ve been taking it easy on you two, because I still care for you both.” Michelle threw her hand up at Manuel and a ball of magic energy flew at him. Manuel threw down one of the Keyblades into the ground and managed to grab the ball of magic. Manuel was about to throw it at Michelle, but decided to throw it at Dani. Once Dani got hit by the attack, David seized the moment and brought Dani down to the ground. David said, “Thanks, but I had her.” Manuel said, “It wasn’t my attack. You can thank Michelle.” David laughed and said, “Okay, thanks Michelle.” David started to concentrate his power and attacks against Kim. Michelle and Kaylee ran at Manuel to attack him. Manuel nearly got attacked, until he spotted it at the last moment. Manuel jumped over them, and landed behind them. The girls turned around and Manuel said, “You both almost had me… I should be more careful…” Michelle said, “You forget something??” Michelle grabbed Manuel’s other Keyblade from the ground. Manuel said, “I knew I was forgetting something…” Michelle threw it at Manuel, at high speeds. Manuel barely moved his head and the Keyblade stuck into the wall behind him. Manuel saw his Keyblade next to him and said, “You have good aim, Michelle. I see that I taught you well.” Kaylee ran at Manuel to attack him. Suddenly, Kaylee was struck by a flying object and fell to the ground. Manuel and Michelle saw that it was Dani’s sword, imbedded in Kaylee’s head. Manuel looked at David and said, “Now, we’re even.” David quickly said, “Of course.” Manuel looked back at Michelle and said, “Now, it’s just you and me.” Michelle gripped her weapons and started attacking Manuel again. Re-armed with his Twin Keyblades, Manuel managed to keep Michelle at bay. After a few minutes, Manuel and Michelle caught each other at a stalemate and pushed each other off. Manuel said, “Why are you doing this??” Michelle said, “I have orders to take you down. You, of all people, should know that you cannot defy the orders from the Masters.” Manuel said, “But, they haven’t been around for many years. I learned that they were killed by a Rouge Sage.” Michelle took out a piece of paper and threw it at Manuel. Manuel magically grabbed it and brought it to him and opened it. Manuel read the letter:

“Apprentice Michelle, you are given orders to destroy The Great Sage, Manuel. He abandoned his power and became vulnerable. It’s up to you to find Kaylee, Kim, and Dani and destroy Manuel for good. You will do this without failure. Signed by: TDP”

Manuel re-folded the paper and said, “This is a false document, Michelle.” Michelle said, “You are soo wrapped up in this power that you deny the Masters’ authentication?! Your end is now.” Michelle lunged at Manuel and Manuel managed to defend himself. Manuel could feel the power from Michelle, because though Manuel defended the attack, he can feel his weapons about to break. Michelle jumped back and lunged again. Manuel attacked to meet Michelle’s lunged attack and suddenly, Manuel’s Twin Keyblades shattered onto the ground. Manuel threw the handles on the ground and Michelle said, “Now you have nothing to defend yourself.” Manuel quickly looked to see David and saw that he was gone, but Kim’s body and weapons were on the floor. Manuel saw that David left his swords in the ground. Manuel ran to pull them out, while Michelle chased him. Once Manuel grabbed hold of both swords, he pulled them out and turned around to stop Michelle’s attack. Once they clashed swords, a thunderous noise echoed throughout the Temple and the Temple itself shook from the impact. As Manuel and Michelle glared each other down, the intensity became too powerful and started to break the walls and mechanics of the Temple. Manuel said, “Michelle, you have to stop this. You don’t have to destroy me.” Michelle said, “You don’t get it, do you?? Once you have an order, you have to carry it out.” Manuel threw her back and said, “You’re willing to carry out the order to destroy your husband rather than choose your husband??” Michelle said, “If it came down to it, I would follow the orders.” Manuel said, “I would choose you over orders, Michelle.” Michelle said, “Why you defy your Masters?!” Manuel said, “I learned that they were killed. We aren’t necessarily tied to them anymore. I only know of the final mission that The Great Sage was in-charge of completing, which is to begin the Dawn of the Second Age of Sages. That’s my order.” Michelle said, “Then, why aren’t you following it?!” Manuel said, “I am. I made you my Wife and I wanted to begin our family, soo that when David, Kaylee, Kim, Dani, and Valmar were to have their families, we would become The Seven Great Sages…” Manuel pointed one of David’s swords at Michelle and said, “But, because of your reckless decision and ignorance, you destroyed that.” Manuel thrusted both swords back into the ground and summoned the Demonic Sword. Manuel said, “And I shall see that you pay for your decisions.” Michelle said, “Let’s see if you can.” Michelle started to attack Manuel, who only had one sword. Manuel blocked one of her attacks and struck one of her Keyblades with the Demonic Sword and shattered it. Michelle jumped back and threw down the handle of her broken Keyblade. Manuel said, “You only have one left, now.” Michelle said, “The only way you can shatter this one is to destroy me.” Manuel and Michelle started to battle again. After a few minutes, Manuel caught Michelle off-guard and shattered her other Keyblade. Without thinking, Manuel took the opportunity and thrusted the Demonic Sword into Michelle’s body, stabbing her through the heart. After realizing his decision, Michelle started to stagger towards the power source. Michelle managed to pull out the Demonic Sword and said, “Heh… You won, Manuel. However, do you know what happens when you sacrifice the Apprentice to the Temple of the Sages??” Manuel said, “I don’t know, to be honest.” Michelle said, “Let’s find out.” Michelle threw the Demonic Sword, at high speeds, at Manuel and it pierced his heart, as well. Manuel felt the pain and managed to pull out the Demonic Sword. As the last attempt to accomplish her goal, Michelle fell into the power source and within seconds, the Temple of the Sages started to demolish. Though he had much pain, Manuel grabbed David’s swords and his Staff of Sages and ran back to the entrance. While running through the Temple, pieces were falling. Manuel managed to dodge the debris and make it outside, where the ship was already in the air. Manuel jumped into the air to reach the ship and managed to land on the ramp. Once the ramp was going up, Manuel walked back into the ship.

Once in the living room, Manuel knew that David was commanding the ship again. Manuel said, “Computer, get David back in here, asap.” The Computer Voice said, “He’s on his way. Should I pilot the ship??” Manuel said, “Take me back to Earth.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel.” Manuel saw David and said, “Quickly, to the Teleportation Room, David.” Manuel and David ran to the Teleportation Room. Manuel had David step on the platform. Manuel said, “I’m teleporting you back to Haven City. Here’s your swords.” Manuel tossed the swords to David and David caught them. Manuel said, “When I can, my old friend… I will contact you. Be safe and keep an eye on the screens, for I will return. Until we meet again…” Manuel saluted and activated the Teleportation Pad. With the flash of light, David was gone from the ship. Soon after, the Computer Voice said, “You should look outside. I’m speeding up the ship, now.” Manuel started to feel the full effects wound that Michelle left him. Manuel staggered his way to the window and saw the big explosion that effected nearby worlds. Not really knowing what’s going to happen, Manuel made his way into his room and shut the door. Manuel laid down on the bed and shut his eyes, because the room started to spin to him. Suddenly, the Bluish Figure appeared and saw how Manuel was. She held out her hands and within seconds, Manuel’s chest wound was healed. Manuel eventually lost conscious. Right after he did, the Bluish Figure used her powers to help the ship fly faster to Earth. After many hours that have passed, Manuel finally woke up from being unconscious. Manuel realized that he was still in the ship and he said, “Computer, are we home??” There was no response. Manuel managed to get up and went to walk out of his room. Just before he left, he saw that the Book of Sages was partly glowing. Manuel grabbed it and went to leave the ship. Manuel walked into the living room and saw that he was in orbit of Earth. Manuel walked into the Teleportation Room and teleported himself down to his home. Once Manuel left the ship, the colorful Figures appeared in the ship. The Orange Figure said, “You think he will know what to do from here??” The Bluish Figure said, “I hope soo. And I hope that he finds what we placed in the Book of Sages.” The Green Figure said, “That will bring her to him, right??” The Bluish Figure said, “Yes. She’s been searching for him and now that we have him still alive, he will soon realize that she’s his true Apprentice. The Great Sage’s Apprentice, Kayla.” The Light Figure said, “What should we do with this ship??” The Dark Figure said, “Well, this ship was a temporary until this happened. Now, we can give Manuel his original ship and destroy this one.” The Bluish Figure said, “For once, you said something useful. We shall destroy it.” Within seconds, the ship exploded.

Back on Earth and inside his home, Manuel sat down on the couch and opened the Book of Sages. Manuel saw that the same Triforce Wedding Ring and Triforce Necklace were glowing. A note was left with it. Manuel grabbed the note and read it:

“She’s here. Your true Apprentice has come, at last. The Great Sage’s Apprentice, Kayla. Signed by: The Bluish Figure.”

After Manuel read the note, a knock came from the door. Manuel got back up and walked towards the door. Before he opened the door, he looked out the peep hole and saw a young girl standing outside. Manuel opened the door and he saw the Bluish Figure. Manuel opened the door and said, “Why exactly are you here??” The Bluish Figure didn’t say anything, but this time, the Bluish glow disappeared and a young woman stood in front of him. Long brownish hair, height of only 5’ 5”, glasses, a slender body that have curves to match it. Manuel was at a loss of words, but managed to get out, “You must be Kayla, my True Apprentice.” The young girl said, “And you must be Manuel, The Great Sage of The Seven Sages.” Manuel said, “Soo, you have finally found me, after many years.” Kayla said, “After the battle that raged across the universe. A strange and familiar power brought me back to this world.” Manuel signaled her to come in his house and he shut the door. Manuel had Kayla follow him to the couch and they sat down. Manuel opened the Book of Sages and Kayla said, “You found the Book of Sages?!” Manuel said, “Yeah, and this is what else I’ve found.” Manuel handed Kayla the Triforce Necklace and Triforce Wedding Ring. Kayla suddenly said, “My necklace and ring!! Soo, it was stored in the legendary Book of Sages, was it…” Kayla put on the necklace and the wedding ring and suddenly, her entire appearance changed. Her clothes were the Sage’s Robes, with custom blue and black color with her name: ‘TGS’s Apprentice’ on the back. Manuel said, “Wow, you look seriously amazing, Kayla.” Kayla looked at Manuel and said, “I’m soo happy that we are finally back together. Tell me… What happened to Michelle, Kim, Kaylee, and Dani??” Manuel was silent for a bit, but said, “Dani and Kim were killed by David, aka Krimson, King of Haven. Actually, David also killed Kaylee as a now-we’re-even thing between us. But, as for Michelle… I killed her. I killed her with this sword.” Manuel summoned the Demonic Sword and Kayla said, “You used the Demonic Sword against one of your own Sages, and that Sage was your Apprentice… Well, temporary Apprentice.” Manuel said, “I know what I did was wrong, but she left me no choice. She was following orders from the our dead Masters…” Kayla said, “Oh yeah, I almost forgot about that. Did we ever catch who that was??” Manuel said, “No. We never found out who the killer was. We found the Rouge Sage’s place, but no evidence was there to prove it was that Sage.” Kayla said, “Hang on… An idea just popped into my head… May I see the Book of Sages??” Manuel handed her the Book of Sages and said, “But of course, my Apprentice. You are the Book’s Keeper.” Kayla was reading through the Book of Sages until she came across a written passage and showed it to Manuel. Kayla said, “Look, what’s this?? It’s written in the Old Sage Language. I don’t know about you, but my translation and sight reading isn’t as good as it used to be.” Manuel looked at the translation and said, “I believe I can translate it. May I see it please, honey??” Kayla smiled and give Manuel a kiss and handed him the Book of Sages. Manuel looked at the written passage and managed to read it:

“Your next adventure is back to the Realm of Hyrule. You are to head to the Temple of Time and activate the Master Sword’s Pedestal and find the hidden stair-case. After you go through the hallway, you should the Seven Scepters. The map is in the Book of Sages. Until we meet again… Signed by: The Bluish Figure.” (“Your next adventure is back to the Realm of Hyrule. Manuel said, “Our next adventure is back to the Realm of Hyrule. Are you ready for the adventure??” Kayla said, “Let’s do it.” Manuel said, “Computer, is the ship still in orbit??” The Computer Voice said, “That ship was destroyed, Manuel.” Manuel said, “How is that possible?!” The Computer Voice said, “Don’t worry. Your old ship is in the docking bay and it’s prepped for take-off.” Manuel said, “Oh ok, nevermind. We will be down there shortly.” Manuel led Kayla to the Underground HQ and made their way to the ship’s Hangar, and it was parked in number 18. Once they were in the ship, Manuel said, “Computer, convert to the ship’s mainframe.” The Computer Voice said, “Already done. Lifting the ship into orbit now.” Manuel and Kayla felt the ship lift off and fly into space. Once they were in space, the Computer Voice said, “Where is our next destination??” Manuel said, “The Realm of Hyrule.” The Computer Voice said, “As you wish, Manuel. Our ETA is roughly 15 hours and 17 minutes. Should I alert you, by alarm clock, one hour before arrival??” Manuel said, “That sounds good.” Manuel looked at Kayla and said, “Let’s get some sleep??” Kayla softly said, “I’m not tired, but we can go to the bedroom…” Manuel said, “And we haven’t been intimate for many years now… You think you can still handle me??” Kayla kissed Manuel and said, “Let’s find out.” Kayla grabbed Manuel’s shirt and pulled him into the room and shut the door. While Manuel and Kayla were remembering old times and good times, the ship silently flew through outer space to their next adventure in the Realm of Hyrule. Manuel and Kayla are to find and make sure that the Seven Scepters are still on their pedestals. For if the Seven Scepters are missing, a whole new adventure is about to begin.
